Masashi Kishimoto (岸本斉史 Kishimoto Masashi) is a Japanese manga artist, well known for creating the manga series Naruto. His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) and Blazer Drive. Two of his former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand's), have also gone on to moderate success following their work on Naruto.
Kishimoto's first work as a manga artist was Karakuri (カラクリ?), which he submitted to Shueisha in 1995. This earned him the Weekly Shōnen Jump's monthly "Hop Step Award" in 1996, granted to promising new manga artists. This was followed in 1997 by a pilot version of Naruto (NARUTO-ナルト-), published in Akamaru Jump Summer. In 1998, Kishimoto premiered as a Weekly Shōnen Jump artist with a serialized version of Karakuri in Weekly Shōnen Jump, but it proved unpopular and was canceled soon after. In 1999, a serialized version of Naruto began publication in Weekly Shōnen Jump and quickly became a hit.

The story progression in this volume was fantastic. I’m really interested in where this heads but just wish it made a bit more sense. They explain it pretty well but there seems to be some misconceptions I want answers too
- Amado, Eida and Daemon is on their way to Konoha from the Land of Snow. Eida accepted Shikamaru's proposition.
- Code adjusted Juubi into smaller size using his Claw Marks.
- Team 7 was assigned a mission to cohabitate with Eida since Eida is fall in love with Kawaki. They must treat Eida well.
- Eida arrived at the house where they supposed to live together. Daemon give them an introduction by beating Boruto and Kawaki.
- Eida's enchanting and clairvoyant, Daemon's reflecting attacks, Code's Claw Marks, Isshiki's Sukuna Hikona and Daikokuten and also Karma are all known as Shinjutsu possessed by Ohtsutsuki Shibai.
- All now left is Ohtsutsuki Shibai's remains. Amado used the DNA from the remains and transplanted it into the cyborgs he made.
- 12 years ago, Amado's daughter, Akebi, is sick. She cannot be healed. Amado preserved Akebi's brain and transplanted it into a clone. The clone have Akebi's memories but her personality is different. The clone is Delta and she is completely different person than Akebi.
- Jigen then recruited Amado and he will revive Akebi if his goal is achieved. From there, Amado knows about Karmic resurrection. That's why he implanted Karma in Kawaki's body along with Akebi's DNA. Akebi can be revived by using Karmic resurrection. He already provided a body for that.
- Boruto's and Momoshiki's thought were crossing over. Momoshiki tells that Amado is lying about his daughter. Boruto see a glimpse of future where Konoha is in chaos. They seem likely to chasing Kawaki off.
This is one of those volumes when the whole thing turns the whole thing over its head and its so awesome like the way it starts is a bit shocking too with the coming of EIDA and all and the switching of alliances and all and I find it funny how she gets so shy being around her crush Kawaki and my god its funny the cohabitation of it all but the best part was Konohamaru's reaction lmao, best sequences of ever lol.
But then the last ch. happens with Amado explaining about his daughter and like how these cyborg abilities come in aka "Ohtsutsuki Shibai" and "Shinjutsu" and it connects in such a great way and its one of those "oh shit" moments where you see the real story being told and such a massive addition to the Naruto-myth and yeah one of the most important chapter, and thus volumes, and will make you love the manga series and the whole world even more, and maybe some won't like it, but this is how you amp up the threats and also like weave together the legends and all and its just perfect! *chefs kiss*
Regardless of what anyone says, this gotta be one of my favorite volumes ever!!

Largely the volume was one of those typical setup volumes where the character largely talk to set things up for the next big event. Code did Code things to get back at the Hidden Leaf Village, Shikamaru did Shikamaru things to annoy practically everyone, and Boruto and Kawaki did their thing, trying to find a way to save each other while bickering in the process. Interestingly, Kishimoto did try to work a fight into this but it came off as just horseplaying, I mean looking at the scene nothing was really damaged in the house.
On that note, I did like the second half, seeing everyone's reaction to Eida is one of the most hilarious things and while it might be strange for other manga, it just works here, I mean especially in the context of how some folks reacted to Naruto and Konohamaru's sexy jutsu, and Konohamaru here, wow, they went all out with him. Iconic moment.
Eida has betrayed Code in favor of cooperating with Konoha (because she's crushing on Kawaki) so Team Seven has a new mission: Kawaki and Boruto cohabitate with Eida and Daemon to keep her happy so she doesn't take over the world (Sarada and Mitsuki watch from a distance).
Then we get to talk to Amado about how he made Eida and Daemon: genetic splicing of a god's corpse. For why? And for what? Meanwhile, Boruto is slowly melding with Momoshiki and Code is making a teleporting Ten Tail clone army... danger is foreshadowed...
I'm giving this penultimate volume of the first arc of Boruto a solid four stars for its well-paced narrative and gradual revelation of answers to questions raised in previous volumes.
The art style remains consistent. While I can't divulge specifics due to spoilers, significant events occur that enhance the story. The story beats are perfectly placed, demonstrating masterful storytelling, which is the mangaka’s undeniable strength.
I was not a huge fan of this volume. This is the beginning of the Prophecy Arc and really feels like an introduction. Code has his own plans while Eida and Daemon ally with Konoha. I'm super curious about Amado and it was great to learn more about his past and motives. The situation with cyborgs, unique skills, and stuff is getting out of hand. I remember when Sharingan was a huge deal but now everything is different and I don't know if it's good or not yet.
Things are really pumping along now, story-wise. I can even feel the overall shape of how bad things will get and how we got to the time-skip. Fascinating, really, and even maybe slightly hopeful... if it wasn't for the obvious "oh-holy-crap" hints.
I'm kinda upset that I will have to wait so much longer for more story. Sigh.
Things seem to be moving again, as Eida and Daemon arrive in Konoha and Amado finally spills the beans. Most of this volume is people talking, but it's much more compelling than the last few volumes have been.
