I didn’t love this but I also can’t stop reading it.
Our main character’s friends suck ass and it’s really difficult to just immediately love a character who went out of her way to have a one night stand and never once thought to use or bring a single contraceptive…and then had the nerve to be genuinely shocked and blindsided by the pregnancy

mixture of romantic and humorous scenes between the main couple. so happy i picked this up. the first thing that caught my eye was the art style and then i finished it within a day.

Read on Tapas. This might be my favorite manga/webcomic to date. Doo-joon was strong, honorable, and caring. Sweet and swoony! I’m glad I purchased this so I can reread.

This was so very cute and wholesome. Green flags for days. The female main character has a one-night stand with a gorgeous man and gets pregnant. I'm not usually one for the scenarios but I couldn't look away. Her baby daddy immediately got into action to take care of her and I was all for it.
She is wanting love and he cannot believe his luck. This was a little too much slow burn for me but for everything else I loved it. We watch as these two learn about each other and if they can be what is best for the child. Our main character is a teacher and she gets a lot of crap for being a single mom but in steps baby daddy with all the power and authority to make others squirm.
I just enjoyed the journey with these two. Still, I would have loved a little more hand-holding or kisses. It just moved very slowly for me even though I'm a slow pace kind of girl.

I always struggle reading these type of manhwas because the FLs are always most likely a copy and paste of annoying tropes. The FL in this was unbearably inconsiderate and rude. You can have trauma and conflict be represented through a character in a book, but when it begins to drag in purpose of delaying the plot or making more chapters that’s when it becomes exhausting.

It was surprisingly good! Positively Yours started in a reverse order for the romance story between the main characters, which I think was pretty interesting.
This story started with FL having a one night stand with a guy she met in a bar after hastily going there mending a broken heart because her bff that she has a crush on is now dating their other close friend. She thought it was just a one night stand until she met the director of the school that she teaches at. Imagine the surprise, lol.
The romance after the second meet didn’t have a good start mostly because of MLs annoying mouth. He was quite annoying, but he eventually grew on me, since that’s just how he is. The sudden pregnancy didn’t help either, lol, since it was unexpected. I thought he was just being responsible, but as I read further, I think he was being controlling and a bit forceful. He wants to marry the FL since she’s pregnant but he is being incessant about it which I think is not a good thing if they are just starting with their “relationship”. But oh well, goodluck for their married life later on then, lol.
The creator’s take on their married life was pretty realistic, so I really like reading that. It shows us the struggle of their marriage life considering it didn’t start with love. That’s why it was really rewarding seeing the confession part after what they went through.
Unlike Daytime Star, I don’t think I love either of the main characters in this manhwa, but I do love their chemistry. The ML may not be my favorite, but it was still enjoyable to read his character development. The FL on the other hand is sometimes annoying, but still better than other stupid fantasy FL out there, lol. Her family troubles was quite sad, but I’m glad she finally able to overcome that in the side story, *wink.
Their scenes with MLs family were also quite hilarious and funny to read, lol.
Contrary to what I expected, her crush and their other close friend was not annoying. Actually, their friendship was really nice to read. It may sound a bit awkward since your two close friends suddenly started dating, but in the end you could see that they really are meant for each other.
There was also a stalking psycho which was a little annoying, but it feels like it was just added there for the drama. Overall, it was still tolerable, *wink.
Lastly, the art was surprisingly good. Definitely no complaints, especially on the character design, *wink.
As per usual, this manhwa also has some side stories, with babies and romance of the side characters, so it was extremely enjoyable to read. If you are craving for a modern romance, then Positively Yours should be on your list!

Recently been getting into kdrama webcomics which are the new age internet version of Harlequin novels. This one was pretty well done, with a decent male lead (ml) and likable female lead (fl).
The premise is that the fl was in a friend group with her best girl friend and guy she grew up with and secretly liked. One day the other two tells her that they're in a relationship and she's secretly heartbroken but can't reveal to either of them that she used to like him. So she dolls herself up and goes to a high class bar to drink her sorrows away. She ends up meeting a hot executive type dude (ml) and has a spicy one night stand with him, after which she left him money, since she thought he was a mimbo.
Since it was her first time, she was completely inexperienced and soon finds herself pregnant. As a teacher, she is bound by a morality clause so she goes to a different hospital than she usually does and gets a checkup. There she bumps into her student, who she mistakenly thinks is there for the same reason she is, with her uncle, which she initially also thinks is some trashy older dude. Well, as it turns out, that older dude is her one night stand, and he ends up figuring things out pretty quickly, thanks to Asian hospitals' terrible confidentiality protocols* (which I personally have experienced myself).
Anyhoo, he wants to marry her to give the baby a name; she does not, because her parents had a terrible marriage. Because of some stuff that happens with her school, she's soon constrained to consider the marriage.
This is a pretty typical one night stand turned marriage romance plot, but the back stories are solid, and character motivations are well fleshed out. Combine that with a strong woman who doesn't want to just roll over and marry just because the guy said so, this was actually really enjoyable. What made it even more enjoyable was how much I liked the second couple, which was the niece and her next door neighbor, her senior at school.
Solid read and a bit better in webcomic format than some of the novels I've tried to read recently.

Ha sido lo más divertido desde el inicio, quitando el mal rato de la protagonista nada más iniciar al notar que esta embarazada.
Heewon es profesora de un instituto, y no ha tenido ninguna relación sentimental debido a que está enamorada de su amigo de infancia Minwok, quién es novio de su otra amiga de infancia.
Ella se siente traicionada y dejada a un lado, pues ella si decidió ocultar sus sentimientos por Minwok para no arruinar la amistad entre los 3 y ahora, es ella quién ha sido dejada de lado.
En un impulso decide hacer uso de una tarjeta que le regalo su amiga para ir a un bar exclusivo, allí conoce a un hombre y se acuestan sin protección, en lo que desemboca un embarazo no deseado.
Aquí inicia todo el drama súper cómico entre ella y Dojoon, el padre del bebé. Quién está muy interesado en ella y en el peque que crece en su vientre, al punto de querer casarse en abril de ese año (y están en marzo).
De momento la relación es linda y pausada, Dojoon va con rapidez pero Heewon le planta los pies y le pide que vayan despacio, porque sí bien está embarazada eso no significa que deban casarse solo por ello, sin conocerse, sin amarse.
La amiga me da mala espina porque tiene unos celos irracionales con Heewon.

Basic plot: After a 1-night stand, Hee-Won finds herself pregnant. Doyun is determined to win her over and marry the mother of his child.
I'm reviewing the entire series as a whole instead of reviewing each individual issue. I read the English translation of this series via the Tapas app.
Such a cheesy plot description for a story that was really full of humor and depth. The characters were relatable and the situation, while it seems rather outside of typical American standards, is about a different culture that has different ways of doing things. It's eye-opening. I really felt for the characters as they navigated the strange waters they found themselves in. The art was consistently beautiful, and helped tell the visual story when words alone just aren't enough.

I liked it a lot more than I thought. The main trope is not one I enjoy, but the way it's developed made me love the story. It's a direct hug to the heart. I would consider this a fantasy because of the MMC, he's so perfect, it's impossible for him to be real. He's only attracted to her, handome, woks out, responssible, hard working (but leaves work to spend time with her) observant, caring and hears her out. The art is also super nice. It has barely steamy momments that feel thrilling, no need of spice here. The only thing I found it lacking is that he really doesn't feel real, he doesn't have flaws, trauma or something where the FMC contributes rather than being by his side and being the reason he stops being schedule bounded and stoic. I'ts always him giving something to her.

Basically, our FMC decides to have a ONS with MMC who just happens to be at the right place at the right time.
She ends up pregnant. They bump into each other but then she's adamant not to bring him into the picture. He just so happens to be the uncle of one of her students (there's a side story about the student and her love interest which is quite cute).
Our FMC & MMC end up marrying and falling in love but not without more drama (i.e. stalker, office politics, family relationships, postnatal depression).

(llegit sencer, però passo d'introduir-los d'un en un!) Un altre manhwa addictiu que ens mostra una història d'amor entre un noi i una noia que passen una nit junts (la primera per tots dos), la noia es queda embarassada, es retroben i el noi vol casar-se amb ella per responsabilitzar-se de la criatura, però la noia no ho veu clar. A sobre ell és ric i accionista de l'institut on treballa ella, així que situació ben incòmoda al principi. Trama previsible perquè s'acaben enamorant, personatges secundaris força anecdòtics i poc explorats i il·lustracions a color meravelloses. En definitiva, un serial de tardes de Tv3 versió coreana, molt tendre, però gens picant. Ta bé.

This mahnwa is so different from the other modern days mahnwas. In it that it goes along with the plot in a different style and sequence and the FL and ML have a very understanding relationship with each other. This mahnwa is hilarious and cute too and I simply adore the FL. She takes no shit from anyone. Her relationship with her mother had me in tears and towards the last few chapters, the time she spends with her students is just so sweet. 10/10 stars I loved this! It had Daytime Star vibes which I’m so thankful for. Im not really into the accidental pregnancy trope but I have to admit, I fell in love with some of the characters.
