A mistaken identity at an office Christmas party turns into so much more in Phillips’s third book in The Sterling Family Series. Just One More Mistletoe will leave you swooning and rooting for the characters until the very end!
As the year is coming to an end, Brandy Bloom is ready to start the next chapter of her life away from the bustling city and onto the suburbs of Long Island. Her life has come in a long way and Brady is at a point in her life where she is truly happy. Yet, it’s time to move on and she can’t leave the office until she seduces the man she’s desired for a while now. But her plans to spend the night with Stephan Corbin do not end up working out like she planned. Instead, Brandy finds herself kissing the wrong twin. If it weren’t for his brother that invited him to the office Christmas party, Max Corbin, would never had the chance to meet the gorgeous woman dressed as an elf. The minute their eyes connected, Max knew that she was different from other women. Their electrifying chemistry is what ultimately gives Max the more reasons to make Brandy his for good.
Though the story was short and sweet, Brady’s story packs a punch as she gets to know Max. It’s clear that they have a lot in common and they’re able to relate to each other right away. Brandy’s walls enables her to give people the chance to get to know her. Which makes Max that much more adamant to let her see who he really is and give her the chance to see if they can have their happily-ever-after. I would highly recommend checking out this book as well as any others by the author. You will not regret it! :)

As the third book in the Brutal Vows Series, Romig delivers a steamy romance between two powerful houses in the mafia and the cartel. Bound by a Promiseis filled with suspense to keep you at the edge of your seat.
At the beginning of the book, we are introduced to Dante Luciano, right-hand man of his older brother Dario Luciano, capo of the Kansas City Famiglia. As the youngest male heir, Dante has always been second compared to his brother. But now that his siblings have gotten married, starting a relationship is not on his radar. Until he meets Camila Ruiz at his brother’s wedding. She has always been out of reach, being the youngest Ruiz in the family. The age-gap between them is what prevented Dante from reaching out to her, though the attraction has always been there. Ever since his brother cemented their family’s alliance with the cartel by marrying the eldest Ruiz sister, there are outside forces who feel threatened by this new allegiance. Everything changes when those forces start to go after the cartel and his need to protect Camila poses him to ask her to marry him, not expecting just how much their lives were about to change forever.
I really enjoyed reading Bound by a Promise, the chemistry between Camila and Dante is magnetic from the very beginning. There is no denying that the two are attracted to each other, yet coming from two different powers makes it difficult for Camila to trust him right away. Liking him is accepting his world and she doesn’t want to be part of the cartel at all. There are rules that she doesn’t agree with and it makes it difficult for Camila to not develop feelings for Dante. He is not like other men, instead Dante really wants to gain her trust by giving her the choice of what’s going to be the rest of her life. There are dangers that come with their worlds and they are about to face their biggest obstacle in order to get their happily-ever-after. Overall, the story was solid and steamy, if you are looking for a forbidden romance than I would highly recommend checking it out. :)

Gina Azzi delivers a deeply emotional sports romance in The Defender, the fifth book in the Boston Hawks Hockey Series. Not having read any other books by the author before, I didn’t know what to expect before reading The Defender. Needless to say, I was impressed with writing and storyline. This second chances at love and new beginnings should definitely make the top of your must-read list!
At the beginning we are introduced to James Ryan, defenseman for the Boston Hawks. It’s been a while since he has gone out with his teammates and he finds himself going to Taps, a local bar with their significant others. It wasn’t long ago that he was that guy, the one with the happy and healthy relationship. Yet, it’s been over a year since his wife passed away and it’s still hard to visit places that they used to frequent together. It’s even more excruciating to raise his twins, Milly and Mason, in the same place she made into a home and not have her there.
Then she meets, Bella, the gorgeous bartender who looks at him and he is able to recognize the pain and emptiness in her eyes. He is drawn to her, but feels guilty that he might be betraying what he once had with his wife. But when it’s time to head home, he finds himself unable to deny the attraction and pull that he has towards her that they end up spending the night together. It would be months until he sees her again, this time at his doorstep as the nanny for his kids. They agree to keep things professional, but the more time they spend together the more James realizes that he might just met his match. It’s just when he is starting to let Bella into their lives that he finds out that there are things that he still doesn’t know about her, things that could prevent them from having a future together.
Isabella Andrews is one of the most sought-after nannies in the Boston Professional Athlete circles, who also happens to occasionally bartend at Taps. She has seen his teammates before, but never James. When she sees him for the first time they click and she can tell that he is in pain. James tells her that his wife passed away and she tells him that she got a divorced that messed her up. It’s for the first time since her divorce that Isabella feels like isn’t broken beyond repair. She never expected to see James again, until she is hired to be the nanny for his kids. Having studied children’s psychology, she loves being around kids and wants to have a family of her own. But there are things that she still needs to work on that keep her up at night and she won’t be able to have a relationship with James if she doesn’t fully let go of her past.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Defender, I was completely hooked from beginning to end. I loved reading James and Bella’s story and how it evolved as the two of them slowly let go of their pasts. It’s truly a story about losing loved ones and learning to overcome that pain in order to have a new beginning. The story felt realistic and emotional. The interactions with Bella and the kids is sweet and caring. She loves to care for them and they slowly grow on her. The chemistry between her and James is explosive, they understand each other and they are able to relate to one another. The ending was perfect for them and their story. I cannot recommend it enough, if you love a second chance sports romance with all the feels than I would highly recommend checking out this book. I cannot to read what the author comes up with next! :)

RATING: 4.5/5
Hayward delivers a sizzling and passionate romance between a billionaire CEO and a supermodel in How the Italian Claimed Her. This opposites-attract romance is about second chances and new beginnings that will leave you rooting for the characters until the very end.
As the CEO of Francesco Vitale, the legendary Italian fashion house, Christiano Vitale has worked really hard to rebuild his family’s legacy. By bringing his grandfather’s fashion house to new consumers, Christiano is hoping to do that by hiring one of the most influential supermodels around. But hiring Jensen Davis as the face of his brand has only brought the wrong attention to the company. With just weeks out from the launch of the most important collection in Francesco Vitale’s history, Christiano is taking it upon himself to get Jensen to take the job seriously or fire her before it’s too late. Yet, he wasn’t expecting to feel so strongly for Jensen or the need to protect her at all costs. Until she doesn’t show up when he needs her the most that Christiano begins to question his feelings for Jensen.
Having grown up in front of cameras ready to capture every moment of her life, Jensen Davids, is used to being talked about. With a legendary last name of her own, means that it’s hard to do anything without the tabloids finding out about it. But her sisters and her have managed to start careers of their own without their mother’s approval. Yet, no matter how much distance Jensen puts between them, her mom keeps bringing her back into her old life. As the face of Francesco Vitale, Jensen has been hired to be part of the upcoming launch, but it’s her busy schedule that has her tired and overwhelmed. It doesn’t help that her mom’s recent actions could jeopardize the job that Jensen worked really hard to get.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading How the Italian Claimed Her, the story was well-written and the chemistry between the characters was magnetic. Both of the characters have been through so much, they are ready to start fresh but not before overcoming some obstacles getting thrown their way. I loved the different settings in the story and that it takes place in the fashion world. I would highly recommend checking out the story and any other by the author, you won’t regret it! :)

As the second book in the Meant For Series, Madison delivers a touching second chance romance in Meant for Her. This hockey romance will leave you rooting for the characters until the very end!
For Dakota, being the wife of a professional hockey player comes with its ups and downs. She is aware of the attention and pressure that her husband constantly gets. But nothing could have prepared her for the upcoming change in her life. Her husband was no longer the same and when tragedy struck she was left with her girls as well as a very unsettling future. That is until Christopher Stone came into her life, as her husband’s best friend and teammate he’s been in their lives ever since they drafted at the same time. They were supposed to be there for each other after all these years, but Dakota starts to feel resentment toward Christopher. He should have done more and he didn’t. Christopher Stone never intended to fail his best friend, but Benji is gone. Now it’s up to him to look out for his family. Little does he know that his life was about to change forever.
I throughly enjoyed reading Meant for Her, the chemistry between the characters is what stood out to me the most. No matter how much Dakota wants to stay away from Christopher, she can’t resit how good he is toward her and her daughters. He is a good example to them and his good heart is what ultimately wins her over. But there are obstacles that they need to face, including facing the guilt that has them unable to fully move on with their relationship. This story is about facing loss and starting new beginnings. I loved the ending, it fit the characters so well. I would highly recommend checking out this story as well as the rest of the series! :)

Not having read any other books by the author before, I didn’t know what to expect before reading A Tempting Arrangement. Needless to say, J. Wilder delivers a steamy marriage of convenience that had me hooked from beginning to end.
As the CEO of Everette Industries, Damon Everette has the status and wealth to get whatever he desires. Yet, it’s his PR rep for the Boston Bruins that has him losing his wit every time Misty Hart is near. She is everything he wants and Damon has no shame in going after what he wants. He will make Misty his no matter what, even if it means making her his wife. Being the heir to a massive fortune, it’s tradition for the soon-to-be head of the family to be married or lose his inheritance. The only issue is that Misty is not interested in him at all or so she thinks. It soon becomes a cat and a mouse chase where nothing is off limits, not even the hurls coming their way.
From the eye-catching cover to the intriguing synopsis, A Tempting Arrangement was an enjoyable read. The chemistry between Misty and Damon was off the charts from the very beginning. It’s evident that Damon is willing to do whatever it takes to make her his, while at the same time he becomes her biggest protector. After going through a traumatic experience, all Misty wants is to start a fresh life. Little does she know that her life was going to take a different turn, one where her future rests is in the hands of her arrogant boss.
She disliked him the minute she got the job as a PR rep for a hockey team, but even she can’t deny the instant attraction between them. It’s when Damon offers her a proposition that she can’t deny, that Misty starts to see him in a different light. But just when things were starting to look promising, her past comes to haunt her ready to put a stop at their relationship. Overall, the story was solid romance with a twist. I would highly recommend it, I cannot wait to read what the author comes up with next. :)

Linde concludes the Wright Duet steamier than ever with the Wright Kind of Love. This sizzling romance will leave you wanting for more!
It has been clear from the very beginning that the Wrights and Sinclairs don’t mix. Not after their longstanding feud between two of the most influential families in Lubbock, Texas. But for Harley Wright and Chase Sinclair they are done hiding their feelings for each other. It’s been three years since they first met at a Wright wedding, changing their lives forever. Not only are they part of rival families, but their age gap difference made it impossible for them to fully to be together. Chase gave them until her college graduation in order to give them a shot at a future. Yet, the minute that happens their families immediate express their disapproval. Now it’s up to them to figure out a way to end their family feud, without getting their hearts broken in the process.
I absolutely loved reading Wright King of Love, we get to see both of the main characters stand up against their families in order to be together. While at the same time we get to see their love blossom even more throughout the book. They are standing up for what it’s right, even if means going against those that they love. All in all, I enjoyed their moments together, the ending was perfect and swoon worthy. I cannot wait to see what Linde comes up with next, I would highly recommend checking out the duet as well as the overall series. You will not regret it! :)

What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas when it comes to Madison’s latest release Meant for Love. As the third book in the Meant For Series, this steamy romance will leave you wanting for more!
At the beginning of the story we are introduced to Nash Griffin, head of the west coast division of the Contrell Group, an investment company. A company his parents founded when he was born, while his older brother leading the east coast division. Nash has been given the task to take care of the company’s PR to make it more appealing for the new generation. He immediately thinks of one of the best in the business, the beautiful and totally off-limits, Zoey Richards.
Having met two years ago at a family event, she took his breath away and hasn’t stopped thinking about her ever since. The last thing he heard was that she was in a committed relationship, leaving Nash no choice but to keep moving on. Until, he asks her to come to LA for a few days to check out the company for her to decide if she wants to take them on as clients. Neither of them expected to get the chance to go to Vegas and get drunk enough to get married. Now he has to convince Zoey to give him ninety days to win her over or it will crush his heart to let her go once and for all.
With her future looking uncertain, Zoey Richards decides to brake things off with her boyfriend Josh. After being together for two years, he hasn’t given her the hope of a future together or entertain the idea of getting married one day. So she decides to part ways for now until she is ready to decide what she wants to do. Though her future quickly changes when Nash Griffin calls her after not seeing each other in a while. They met a family vacation he tagged along his brother, who married one of her cousins. Their chemistry was instant and she tried to avoid him ever since. But when he offers her to get her away from New York, Zoey happily agrees. All Zoey has ever wanted is to be married and in a happy relationship, yet when Nash promises to give her all of that and more, somewhere along the way they end up getting married. The reality of her situation comes crushing down the next day and the fact that Nash refuses to give her a divorce. Instead, he asks her to give him a chance and she agrees. Getting to really know him along the way is what makes her realize just how perfect he is for her, but fears that he might hurt her in the end.
I throughly enjoyed reading Meant for Love, it was steamy and entertaining. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts and sizzling. I loved the characters interacting with each other’s families. Nash really tries to woo Zoey, while making her feel cared for and loved. Zoey’s biggest fear is that Nash might be too good to be true and that he will hurt her. So when she starts to get to know him and his family, she realizes that he might just be right for her. All in all, the ending was sweet and special. I would highly recommend checking out the book along with any other book by the author! :)

Having grown up among hockey legends makes Stone Richards want to make his own mark in the sport. He has no time to focus on other things, until he meets Ryleigh Beckett. With her brother marrying into his family, Stone knows that if things go south it would only cause chaos within the family. But her no non-sense and feisty personality is what keeps pulling her in his head. She is all Stone can think about and he is willing to do anything in order to convince her to give them a shot. Little does he know how difficult maintaining a long distance relationship with their busy schedules is going to be. Love is said to conquer it all, but will for them?
For Ryleigh Beckett being the daughter of a famous actor and growing up in Hollywood, she is aware of what it means to be in the spotlight. So when she got her law degree and made the move to Chicago to become a district attorney, it gave her the chance to start a new life. Being close to her family also means that Ryleigh gets to spend a lot of time at Hollywood events. Events that guys used her to attend, so with her walls build up, she decided to focus on her career and nothing else, not expecting to meet Stone Richards. He is nothing she’s ever encounter, he doesn’t give up easily, kind and set on making her his. Making her wonder what their relationship could be like if she’d only let her walls down.
I absolutely loved reading Meant for Stone, I loved the characters dynamic from the beginning and it only got better throughout the book. There are a lot of steamy moments and swoon-worthy ones too. Stone is a go-getter, determined to go after what he wants. On the other hand, Ryleigh is bold and outspoken, perfect for a district attorney. She is the best at what she does and work has become her life. But when life brings them together, they have to learn to compromise in order to give them a shot at a relationship. All in all, I would highly recommend checking out this book. With the way the book ended, I cannot wait to read what happens next in the series! :)

It’s evident of how much they like each other from the very beginning, then they are forced to face their pasts and those around them. They don’t quite trust each other and it takes them time to slowly rely on one another. Ronan becomes protective over Brooklyn while she starts to feel free around him. All in all, the story was solid and I would recommend checking it out if you like the enemies-to-lovers trope. :)
