At first, the story line seems to be heading in one direction--what you would consider your typical sweet romance between Reid and Emily, with a few bumps and bruises along the way. But then it shifts and things get decidedly stranger. It all makes sense in the end, with a nice twist to the story.
I liked the interaction between the two former college chums, Reid and Hale. They have a teasing type of friendship, that made me laugh at their conversations from the first chapter.
As the title indicates, it's a book about trust. But it's more than about people trusting each other. It's about trusting God. The book, however, isn't preachy. God is a part of their lives, but the book isn't about religion.
