I specially loved the first half of the book. I enjoyed the tropes.. "brother's best friend", "grumpy/sunshine", "I will burn the world for you" and I loved the dual POV. But, I felt the pace of the story was a little of, that's why halfway through the book, it dropped a star. Some times feelings just came to quick and easy, like for me, something just didn't fit. I liked the character of Alex, and his charactor development. I liked he was so good to Ava. But some things he did, just didn't match up with the way he was portraited. Like singing in front of everybody. A really nice gesture for sure.. It just really didn't fit with his personality, I think. I thought the banter between Ava and Alex was good, and I often enjoyed it. I didn't love it though. So yeah, mixed feelings. But I'm overall I really enjoyed the book, and I'm diffently reading the next one....more
