Well .. I can definitely say it did !!! When I heard this book was basically about a guy who hates this gal because she was the reason things were not okay in his life and that he wanted to possess her sexually , mentally , emotionally and physically .. I pretty much gave myself a whopping eye roll coz I felt that this was such a tried and tested formula in booksville. Imagine my surprise when this book turned out to be a lot more than your typical obsessive psycho hero romance !! The only thing that I found a bit OTT was what kinda a bad ass Keiran was .. and that these were kids were only 17 and 18 years old !!!!
Super steamy , dark and intriguing Fear me is a sure shot mind fuck that will either leave you fanning yourself or make you throw your Kindle and scream out in frustration !!!!
I need book 2 like right now !!!!
And I also need Dash and Willow ' s story !
Also , Keenan and Sheldon better get their HEA !!! I want them to have their own story as well !!!!!!...more
There is crazy and then there is THE CRAZY ! And Contrite is THE CRAZY !!
The blurb pretty much covers everything you need to know to get started . And boy let me tell you Contrite is a fast paced , no breather - thriller with some prett-ay steamy moments ! I started it this morning and I devoured it by the time night-time rolled out !
I was a little confused about Clove's character because of certain things she did . I mean .. Fuck that's gonna get into spoiler territory and that is a no-go right now . But I kinda wanted to scream at her and then I also felt that she somehow couldn't help it .
Let's talk about the ending for a second . Because that ending left me shell-shocked ! For a minute or two I was sitting staring at those last few paragraphs wondering if there is more to it . And then I'm .... I was just freaking out trying to think what's gonna happen next . I think this book is a standalone so yeah , yeah ... that ending it was ... just BRUTAL ! Brutal I tell ya !!

I'm not gonna get into the nitty-gritty of what the story is about and the characters involved . Just know that it is dark , and times disturbing , sometimes depressing and definitely not for those who love romances . There is nothing romantic about this story or the characters . But if you can romanticize morbidity then yeah this can be that sort of a romance ...
If you want to read a psychological thriller that can contradict your feelings about sanity and insanity , then please give this book a try ....more

Lillith is trying to find Sebastian Brand , to prove everyone and to her herself that the man who saved her life is a real person and not a figment of her imagination or just her 'coping mechanism' . What Lillith doesn't know is that reality is a lot crueler than her fantasy . That in the real world , money talks and those with them have the power and the ability to get away with anything . Lilith search does bring her to Sebastian , but is this Sebastian the man of her dreams ? Or is he just a wolf in a sheep's clothing wearing a business suit for a disguise ?
You'll just have to read their story and find out !
This book right here is one of those that makes me wanna gush about . But the problem with that is that my 'fenceless' brain may very well start giving out the spoilers and that would be sooo wrong . Snare is one of those stories that needs to be experienced .
Lillith and Sebastian are definitely complex characters . Lillith's obssession with Sebastian lands her at a very wrong place . Although she fears it , she feels that there is a purpose in her attraction to Sebastian . Sebastian is drawn to Lillith , but his past and his present makes him a very hard man to love .
Thank fuck for dual PoV's !! Lillith's brain is a scattered puzzle piece . Reading her thoughts was like trying to glue back pieces of her life and also figuring out her feelings for Sebastian . Sebastian on the other hand , is a character with different facets . There is a part of him that loathes what he is , but then there is a part of him that enjoys the power of being the man that he has become . His POV's seemed like a tug-of-war that he always has with his conscience . And as a reader I loved getting into his brain .
“You own me. I do not own you. There is a clear difference.” I smile. “Oh, but you do, Miss Carrigan. You just don’t know it yet.” I tap on my chest, at the place my heart is at. “Here.”
Lets talk about the 'dark' aspect of this book . While many of the scenes are not very descriptive that could be termed as dark , there are hints as to what could've been heinous acts . But I'm thinking we haven't seen much yet . The club Sebastian belongs to is into some really fucked up shit . I have my suspicions about that , but it's too early to reveal anything.
Every chapter has a song that accompanies that chapter . I suggest listening to it , whilst reading , because it just amplifies that chapter/character mood .
The ending definitely left me speechless . There is a massive cliffhanger at the ending , that will literally leave you jaw dropped . I was praying , but I wasn't sure what I was praying for .. It felt all my feelings were on an adrenaline rush .
Clarissa's writing is on point . The story is brilliantly put , and the twists and turns make for one helluva mind fuck .

Ugh I really don't know how to review this book without giving away anything and trust me , there is a lot to give away here ! So I'll just stick to the norm and talk about how I felt about this book and try to be super vague because trust me you HAVE TO .. You NEED TO .. You MUST read book 1 before reading this one .
What I loved about Legacy was where Sociopath was all about Aeron , Legacy gave us something to look into from Leo's point of view as well . If you thought she was a little wacked in the head for sexing it up with Aeron , who has a serious fetish that involves blades and whatnots ( read : sharp and semi sharp kinda blunt objects too ) then think again my darlings ... The girl IS wacked in the head because what she feels for Aeron is by no means normal .... As a reader you can't help but think that what Aeron and Leo share as a couple is soooo dark , it borderlines disturbing .. And I'm not talking about what they do , its what is in their head . Talk about WTF !

Again , I found the ending to be a bit hasty .... I wanted more of Leo .. I wanted to see her handling the aftermath of the mess she endured .. Kinda sadist really , but I wanted to see if that event had changed her for good or for bad .
On the whole though , Lime Craven is one twisted woman . I just can't get enough of her scrumptious kind of twisted !!!! ...more
Cherry St Croix is back , but sadly not with a bang . Cherry is in a very dark place at the beginning of this book with her struggling addiction to Opium , with her heart broken and her trust betrayed by Hawke . Oliver Ashmore , Cherry's guardian finally shows face at I must say what a timing !
I loved this book because it was all Cherry and her struggles with life . The truth about her parents , their life and death were finally revealed and let me tell you it was sooo not a good thing !
I can't wait to see what more adventure Ms Cooper has up her sleeve for Cherry St Croix ! ...more
