The stories are short but fun to read, though the sexy times at times felt iffy (especially the first and the third stories). But I do love the stories for most (all those happy endings always make me very happy) and I love the variety of characters and the sexy times were well drawn (and spicy, oh my). I like that we also got a couple reincarnators in the mix. Oh, and definitely plus points for the cover! ...more

Yor is having a tough time (and a lot of reflection on her front, which I remember from the anime I found a bit boring), and Anya is trying to keep Lloyd from finding out things, haha which led to some hilarious scenes. Also tons of battles and kick-ass fights. I cannot wait to see how it goes in the next one. Well, OK, since it follows the anime pretty closely I already know what to expect, but it will be still fun to see. ...more

This was quite a gruesome volume and I wasn't always a fan of things, but it did show us Kurapika and his new abilities which apparently level up scarily high when he goes red eye mode. I hope that Kurapika/the crew can save Neon and get her to safety. I also liked seeing what Gon and the crew are up to, apparently it is time for them to bounty hunt! ...more

Gon and Killua are at Gon's homeplace and learn more about his family with some big hints happening and a new plan being made. Which leads them to the same place that Kurapika is working for, but we also meet Leorio again (yas). Things get quite exciting and I just love the auction, though haha, I will stay out given how dangerous it seems, that ending. I am also very curious about the boss' daughter and her powers. I am still a bit conflicted on the Hunters License/Permit and that you only get one in your life and otherwise you fucked, which just seems way drastic. I can understand not giving someone a new license each time. But like 2 in your lifetime should be a thing? Right? I am sure with Nen you can make sure the other magically gets destroyed or something. ...more

This was exciting, the matches were great, so many interesting/strange/weird/strong characters, and oh yes training! Which, I found boring and a bit too shounen given how fast they all learned Nen. But hey, otherwise it wouldn't be fun I guess. My favourite match would be against Hisoka who is still MILES above Gon. Good luck Gon. And sorry, but seeing Hisoka say he gets excited and the panel highlights THAT, I was just going EWWW. No. Eww....more

I thought it would be a lot like DragonBall, but instead it is way more fun and intense! Though we also get our typical shounen over-powered MC/friends of MC stuff in which Gon and Killua just magically instantly learn things which normally would take a LONG time. All for the sake of the plot. XD But I liked advancing up the tower and see what happens when you reach the top (Killua has no intention going there, he just wants snack money). Of course Hisoaka is there as well (ewww). I really like the art in this one, it feels more like a sketch and that fits so well with the action. On to the next volume and see how K&G learn new techniques and kick some butt along the way. ...more

Some are super messed up. We also get some things about Yume's mom/Gray, thankfully not that much so I don't mind it. I loved the idea of the battle/test and how it worked though I had to re-read it a couple of times to make sense of it, haha. But fun! And dangerous. Of course, we all know that Gon will go to be a hunter, I mean, he is the MC. I liked it, though I hadn't expected it to get so depressing at times. I wasn't too happy she went to the festival. I would have rather seen her invite her bestie as well, now, if her bestie sees her it will just spark hurt and drama which I am not into.
