As I turned the final page of this book, I was reminded of the time I first discovered Lisa Renee Jones’ work. The Inside Out Series was my introduction to Lisa’s ridiculous talent and MURDER NOTES, book #1 in her new Lilah Love Series, gave me those same giddy vibes. This was an absolute THRILL to read! It kept me on my toes, and had my mind turning with every swipe of the page. I knew the minute I began this journey, there was no going back. This author has a way of sucking you in, holding you hostage, and feeding your suspense addiction with every new chapter.
I adored Lilah’s character! She is a confident and feisty FBI profiler that pulls no punches. She speaks her mind and she knows that she is good at what she does. When a case brings her back home, she suddenly has so much MORE pulling at her than the craving to solve multiple murders. We are introduced to a piece of her past that she has fought hard to forget, but this string of murders is pushing her demons out to play. One of those demons is Kane Mendez, son of a crime lord who has taken over his father’s business and past lover to our sassy heroine.
I love this author’s complex, intricate, and vivid writing style. She makes it easy for the reader to immerse themselves in the story, putting themselves right alongside Lilah, trying to solve these murders by her side. Having those elements make the reading experience that much more entertaining and memorable. This was one hell of a beginning to what I know is going to be another addicting series by Lisa Renee Jones. Bring on the next!

First off let me tell you how much it pains me not to give a K. A. Tucker story ALL THE STARS! As you can see, I’ve only given KEEP HER SAFE 3 stars. That’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy the book, but it wasn’t what I was expecting in the ‘romance department’ ONLY! I knew this was a Romantic Suspense, but I’ve read A LOT in this genre and I guess I expected for romance than suspense, or an equal amount of both, at the least. KEEP HER SAFE was a nail-biting suspense story full of corruption, mystery, murder, cover-ups, etc. It was intricate and complex and of course it had Tucker’s A+ writing style. What it lacked for me was again, the romance aspect of the genre. It’s not unusual for this author to go light here, but I believe if you are marketing it as a ROMANTIC SUSPENSE, I still want a love story to rival all love stories.
Noah and Gracie has SO MUCH potential. Noah is a pretty stand-up guy. He was a true gentleman, and I adored him right away. Gracie popped in with all her sass and right then I thought, this is PERFECT! She is the perfect other half for a guy like Noah. So right then and there I had high hopes. But there was no sparks or intense chemistry. And I thought, hey maybe this is going to be a slow-burn (WHICH IS DEFINITELY WAS) of a romance. But even as the pages turned, I felt no closer to these two characters (as a couple). Meanwhile, I am enraptured by all of the goings on and the mystery behind everything. But the lack of HEAT…the lack of FIRE and CHEMISTRY between these two just blew out the flame of the rest of the book for me. Some people may feel differently. They may experience that connection between the two main characters, but unfortunately, it was a miss for me. I still had to give it 3 stars, which in my book is still pretty good, but in the end I wanted more of the ‘love story’ and less murder mystery. I might be in the minority because I know there are a lot of K. A. Tucker fans out there, including me, but you just can’t win them all. But hey, if you are a fiction/murder mystery fanatic, KEEP HER SAFE will be a gold mine for you!

Separately, Shayla Black and Lexi Blake have turned out such great stories, blowing my mind page after page, chapter after chapter, book after book. Together, they have taken this genre to new heights. They are dominating the romance genre, one sexy title at a time. Like Gabriel and Everly, these fabulous authors give us characters that embed themselves into the reader's hearts, so that we only have to hear their names, and flood after flood of emotions come pouring out, taking us back to their stories, making us remember and experience it all over again.
Black and Blake has created something special here. Of course, Gabriel and Everly get their happily ever after, but the mystery remains unsolved. You get a taste of The Perfect Gentlemen, meeting the members and achieving some sort of connection with each one, learning a little bit of their past and how they came to be what they are today. Breadcrumbs are all that remain. Pieces of the puzzle scattered all around in your mind, just waiting, craving the minute they all come together to reveal the truth.

I am a big fan of Ms. Gayle's Purgatory Masters series, but Mason's story fell short for me. The premise of the book was good. A 30 day BDSM contract turns into more, and you definitely saw that one coming. I didn't feel the intense chemistry that I am so used to feeling with Eliza Gayle's characters.
It just seemed like their love was rushed, their ending was rushed, and I got to the end and I thought to myself, what just happened? No fight, no angst, I just didn't get into it like I wanted to so badly. Even with the shortfall, I still liked Mason's Rule, and I will definitely look forward to more trips to Purgatory, especially the infamous sister's love story. Ella James gave us the perfect ending for such a deliciously sexy set of stories. Ella James, not only melted my panties in this series, but melted my heart as well. Giving us complex, sexy, damaged characters like James Wolfe is what it is all about. I fell for him, and I fell hard. He is absolutely stunning, intriguing, and still such a mystery, that you can’t help but devour everything that dirty mouth of his says.

The beginning and ending of Red & Wolfe, Part Four was as close to perfection as you could get. If you are following the series, you feel the connection between Sarah (Red) and James (Race) growing by the second. Race not only craves Sarah’s body, but wants her mind and soul as well, even though he knows he is bad for her. His demons run way to deep to have a normal relationship. I loved how when this part started, you could tell that Race was in real deep with Sarah, because mundane, everyday things around him seemed more vibrant, more beautiful. That was very poetic and fairytale…ish of Ms. James. No matter the demons, no matter the enemies that get closer by the minute, nothing can tear these two apart. They are constantly going at it like rabbits, and it is intense, sexy, and at times sweet.
Ella James captured my complete attention and transported me to a world that I struggled to leave behind. I was captivated and enthralled by these characters and the struggles and the passion they experienced. Full of kink, passion, and suspense, Red & Wolfe should skyrocket to the very top of your TBR list. Ella James has become one of my GO TO authors, and I can’t wait to see what brilliance she comes up with next.

Grace has finally come to terms that her ailing father might know more about Cole's twin sister's death than she thought. When she hesitantly goes to Cole with this information, he is more determined than ever to find out what happened to Cass. Even if that means working up close and personal with the beautiful Dr. Hunter.
Lines are crossed, a connection grows, and an intense chemistry burns brighter. Before you know it, Cole and Grace's sarcastic and humorous banter turns into something so much more intense, raw, and steamy. Grace needs to know what her father knows, not only for her sanity but for Cole's as well. Cole is fighting a never-ending battle and Grace might just be his white flag.
I am really enjoying where this story is taking me. The author does a fantastic job of giving us an intense romance while keeping us intrigued with this murder mystery of the Cavanaugh sister. With each story they are that much closer at finding out what really happened, and I can't wait to find out how this will end. There is also a great set up to the next story BONDED, which is Blue's story. I'm intrigued by his character the most, and I'm excited to see what direction the author will take with his story.
Overall, BRASH was a very enjoyable read, giving us a deeper look into the mystery behind Cass's murder, as well as, warming my heart with Cole's emotional journey of loss, pain, and regret.

Being familiar with her HELLA SEXY paranormal books with the Mark of the Vampire Series, I had no doubt that Ms. Wright would bring the heat in a Contemporary Western Romance such as this gem. Lorelei James is usually my GO TO author for this genre, but Laura Wright just moved herself up on that very list. Scorching, emotional, and exciting, BRANDED kept me up till the wee hours of the morning. I was too engrossed in Deacon and Mac's story to even think about putting this baby down early.

Even though he pissed me off quite a bit in this book, I still ended up falling in love with Deacon Cavanaugh. Nothin' like a sexy country boy who can pull of jeans, t-shirt, and a Stetson AND make you melt in a three-piece suit. Mackenzie Byrd was a very strong female lead in this book, and I loved that I could relate with her on a couple of levels. These characters can take what they can dish out. The back and forth, the love/hate relationship that these two had, kept a smile on my face the whole way through. Compelling, sexy, and thrilling, BRANDED sucked me in until the very last page. I'm in love with the Cavanaugh brothers now, and I can't wait to see what Laura Wright has in store for the remaining members of the family. You can say to yourself that you don't like Western Romances, but this has a touch of the city in it, and I think it will satisfy your contemporary romance addictions.

Don’t get me wrong, White Collared is a SCORCHING read, but along with that came the thrilling suspense, and the emotional downfall of certain events. With every page and every chapter came new ideas, new questions, and new plot twists. I couldn’t turn away from these words that left me speechless at the conclusion of each part. This was a VERY WELL DONE serial, and it has created another Super Fan for this incredibly talented author. I’m keeping this series close to me, because when I’m feeling in a funk, and I need a pick me up, I believe re-reading the White Collared Series will be my DRUG OF CHOICE!

There is nothing sexier than a man who can turn you into a puddle with such a simple act as brushing a piece of rope up and down your skin while whispering how he plans to take care of you. I am getting goosebumps again just thinking about it. I’m no stranger to the Masters and Mercenaries Series by the amazing Lexi Blake. This series, as well as the rest of Lexi Blake’s work, continues to leave me breathless. There is just something about these characters that make you want to jump in the page and devour them. I don’t think I will ever get enough of these honest, sexy, demanding men. Vivid, emotional, and suspenseful, this Masters and Mercenaries novella packs just as much punch as a full length novel.

Surrender My Love was my first read from Lisa Eugene. It's part of the Washington Memorial Hospital series, but can be read as a standalone. I thought this book had great elements with not great follow through. It was a little hard to get through at first, kinda slow-paced, but once it started picking up speed, I was fully engaged. I really enjoyed the whole murder mystery aspect of it. It was definitely suspenseful, but the chemistry (which I believe is one of the most important pieces in a romance) between the two main characters was just not there for me. Don't get me wrong Doctor Brad Markson can take my temperature any day, he was dominant, sexy, demanding, all traits that I look for in a leading man, but I didn't feel the love or the angst when him and Chloe were together.
Surrender My Love was a good story, but lacking in some areas. I can recommend this if all you are looking for is hot, steamy sex. But if you are looking for a true romance kind of deal, I'm not 100% sure you will be satisfied here.

Just like in her Songs of Submission series, we get romance, we get suspense, and we get sex so explosive it will take your breath away. These two characters together, it’s so primal, so intense, you can’t look away from the pages. There are times when they aren’t making love, they are purely fucking each other’s brains out. It’s demanding, it’s angry, there is a constant push-pull between the two. I was out of breath by the end of some of those scenes for sure. Don’t worry, there are still some sweet and tender moments that will melt your heart. It’s just so emotional, because they know they are bad for each other, but no matter what they do, whose feelings they hurt, they cannot stay away.

I was prepared. I psyched myself out, and told myself that there was going to be a cliffhanger and I was going to scream. The time came as I read the last couple of pages, and my heart beat faster and faster. The killer cliffhanger never came. Sure, there were unanswered questions, unresolved feelings, but I was pleasantly surprised by the ending, satisfied if you will. I know CD Reiss is giving us more Antonio Spinelli, and she delivers over and over again. Waiting is a bitch, isn’t it?

Immortal Hunter is a good, intense paranormal story that will keep you on your toes. Kait created a world full of mystery and suspense around every corner. The writing was good. There were some sexy parts, some humorous parts, and there was no lack of fascinating characters.
I really enjoyed the storyline in this book, even though it might have started off a little slow. We get a little back story between the two main characters, and I always love a story where best friends fall in love. That being said, where this book was lacking was its main characters, especially the heroin, Allsún O’Hare. There was something about her character that just irked me. I keep thinking that maybe if I read the first book, I would have connected better with these two, but I can't say for sure. I could feel a little chemistry between David and Allsún, but it wasn't enough. I didn't understand the appeal that she had to David. That's not to say, I didn't feel anything with the horrible things she has been through in her life, but in order for a story to completely engage me, there has to be some connection with the characters, and this fell short on that matter.
Even with the fact that I didn't entirely connect emotionally with the main characters; the secondary characters picked up the slack a bit. I think Jace McCannon stole the show in this story, even though I believe he already received his story in book 1. Kait Ballenger made a great move in involving him in Immortal Hunter, because he alone, makes me want to go back and read Twilight Hunter, which is Book One in the series. The world of the Execution Underground is thrilling, action-packed, and at times pretty amazing. The death and destruction was sometimes a little hard to take. There are some graphic scenes that led me to taking a quick break, and stepping away to process it all.
It all comes down to if I would recommend this book. I have to say yes, BUT I would read this series in order, and start with Book 1. Because I loved Jace so much in this story, I plan on going back and starting Book 1, and as far as the other sexy men in the agency, I'm excited to learn more about the Execution Underground, and its fascinating characters that I have met along the way.

I have such a bitter-sweet feeling while writing this review, because I have absolutely LOVED T.K. Leigh's Beautiful Mess series from the very beginning. Now, we have come to the end of Olivia Adler and Alexander Burnham's epic love story. When reading a series that you have grown to adore, you always worry when the final book comes about. Will the author do it justice? Will the characters get the happy ending they deserve? Will it leave you with questions unanswered? Well, I'm happy to announce that the conclusion will leave you not only satisfied, but completely and utterly content. T.K. Leigh's way with words totally mesmerize me and leave me breathless. Ms. Leigh is an Indie author that has made her way in this industry, and I know that even though this might be the end for Beautiful Mess, I believe that we will be seeing so much more of her work in the near future!

Since this is ABSOLUTELY NOT a standalone, I will stay away from discussing the storyline in great detail. I wouldn't want to spoil this fabulous series at all for you. Alexander and Olivia have been through SO MUCH, and I feel like I have been there every step of the way with them. I have felt their lust, love, and adoration for each other. There has been secrets upon secrets, and lies upon lies, and it just adds so much to depth and realness to this story and the series itself. Entertaining and suspenseful, Gorgeous Chaos will immerse you in a world where you are so connected with these characters that your reality will blur, if only for a little while. Their problems become your problems, and their angst becomes your angst. Their tears become your tears, and so on. Nothing will pull you under quite like this book.

Tissues are a MUST with this Gorgeous Chaos. Even going back and re-reading quotes from the book has me tearing up. I just LOVE emotional reads. Nothing is better than curling up with a good book, and having a real good ugly cry when there is a turning point in a story. Be prepared for a couple in this book. You know those 'GASP' moments you sometimes come across, and it takes your breath away...it's exactly like that!
For the erotic romance reader in you, Gorgeous Chaos definitely does not disappoint in this department. The passion and the chemistry between Olivia and Alex are incredibly palpable. The sensual heat flies off the pages with every turn. This read will wrap you up in a nice steamy blanket of ecstasy and devotion. When Mr. Burnham comes alive in the bedroom, YOUR OVARIES WILL COMBUST! It is THAT fucking hot! This will be worth the re-read just for that man, for sure.
Gorgeous Chaos is a TOP PICK for me because it is pretty much written to PERFECTION. I couldn't have asked for a better ending for these two characters that I have become invested in, heart and soul. The ending was unexpected. I didn't see any of it coming, and the surprise had me banging my head against the wall. The expectations I had for the conclusion of the Beautiful Mess series was INCREDIBLY HIGH, and Ms. Leigh did all she could to surpass those, and my god, did she ever! Bravo!

So, I have come to the conclusion that Shayla Black and Lexi Blake can do no wrong. Writing together, or writing separately, these two are a freakin’ powerhouse! They constantly give us stories that are emotionally charged, and deliciously erotic. The Masters of Ménage Series is a series that will never disappoint. It’s a series that will keep you on your toes, and keep you fascinated the whole way through. Their Virgin Secretary is no exception to these facts. It was chock full of dialogue that will have you grinning from ear to ear, and sexual tension so high that it will have you contemplating a VERY cold shower.
All you pretty much have to know is that this book contains THREE very successful, very sexy, and VERY demanding lawyers. They all have been pining after their secretary/executive assistant/office manager ever since they laid eyes on her. Never making a move, only taking care of her in the background, they finally agree that it is time to take what’s theirs. When everything seems to be going as planned, a secret is revealed that has the power to change everything.

Ok, there are a lot of parties involved in this ménage, so let’s break it down and learn a little about each character shall we?
First up, we have our heroine Belle, or ‘Annabelle’ when a certain Dom is putting his foot down. Belle is one of those people you would trust with all your secrets. She would be a perfect ‘best friend.’ She’s caring, loving, and full of devotion. She will never let you down, and always be there when you need her. She has touched each of her bosses lives and made it better somehow. Belle has spent a year falling in love with her bosses, but it will never be anything more. They have yet to make a move on her, and she deserves better. She wants something more out of life. She has dreams that she wants to go after, and she can’t fulfill these dreams while she is stuck in a law office, falling deeper in love with these stubborn men.
We have a lot of HEROES to get through, so let’s get started…
First up, we have my favorite (shhh..don’t tell the others) Tate Baxter. Tate is the lovable, honest, ‘nerd turned hottie.’ You will never know what will come out of that man’s mouth. He is so random and so hilarious, that I had tears coming out of my eyes from laughing so damn hard. After having a rough go of it growing up, always trying to live up to impossible expectations, he met Eric Cohen, and they helped each other become the incredible men they are today. After the first couple of chapters, you will be pleasantly surprised that this genius has a very dirty mouth, and it is SEXY AS HELL! Here, I will give you a little taste:

Next, we have Eric Cohen. He was your typical jock growing up. He had a father with way to high expectations, and with every screw up, he heard about it, over and over again. After meeting Tate and having him help with his studies, he found out that he was so much smarter than he thought he could ever be. Tate helped him realize this, and it has made their friendship and bond that much stronger. Eric is the soother, the sweet-talker of the three, but he still holds so much inside. After getting to know Eric a little more, I came to the conclusion that he is the glue that holds the trio together.

And last, but certainly not least (or he will spank me) we have Kellan Kent, the Dom to end all Doms. He is so incredibly sexy, and so incredibly frustrating, it drove me crazy through the entire story. He is the one with a past that could destroy everything. Being burned by his ex-wife AND his family in the worst possible way, he has lost all hope in love and relationships. With that being said, Marriage is a VERY hard limit for Kellan. There is no question that he wants Belle. There is no question that he wants what’s best for his brothers. He knows that Tate and Eric want to make Belle all of theirs ASAP, but he is not ready, and he doesn’t know if he will every be. Sure, he can be there to lend a palm or his cock every once in a while, but he doesn’t think he is what Belle needs. See what I mean about the frustrating part :)
As you can see, Their Virgin Secretary is not short on amazing, beautiful, complex characters that will make you swoon, AND make you pull your hair out. These characters have parts of them that are broken, and are just looking at trying to find a way where everyone can be whole again. There will be struggles, there will be hesitations, but deep down all they need is the love and devotion of one another to start the healing process.
In conclusion, Their Virgin Secretary AND the entire series is a MUST READ for me. I devoured this book in one sitting, laughing, crying, and swearing along the way. This is Romantic Suspense at it’s best. There is no doubt in my mind, that you will not fall in love with these characters. There is no doubt in my mind that if you aren’t currently a fan, you will become one….for life. It’s stories like these, that made me fall in love with the genre.
