I haven't even touched it because honestly it sounds like my last relationship that was on and off for years. I swear the synopsis makes me feel like she stalked me while going through this terrible time in my life, then wrote about it and called it "real love". I wanna scream at myself all over again for putting up with this horrible guy for so long!
Totally agree. This should be in the banned books pile and I don't even believe in that. Just garbage. I hope young teens do not look up to any of the characters in this.
The book is harmful because it glorifies an abusive relatioship which can give young and impressionable teens the idea that this is a perfectly healthy and stable relationship. In the book Hardin is an extremely violent and unstable person, he tries to manipulate Tessa multiple times (not only in this book but throughout the whole series), he's possesive and this relationship should never be portrait as healthy or ideal.
