it was amazing

Not wanting to dive into anything too time consuming I decided to pick up a few novellas to get in some short and light reads in before the new year. I am not one for short stories so when I do pick one up I don’t go in with high expectations.

Wow! I believe I’ve found a new favorite here. I was hooked from the beginning and for being such a short story it packed a huge punch. The story was full and substantial with writing that flowed so well that I found myself looking up other titles by this author to add to my already too long “to read” list.

After a tragic accident and waking from a coma Eloise Montgomery is left to pick up the pieces of her shattered life. In the midst of it all she discovers she has a gift. An unwelcome gift. Eloise soon realizes its importance and embraces this newfound gift in order to help others and in turn helping herself cope with her own loss.

This is my first book I’ve read by this author and I am already looking forward to the next installment in this short series.
