Moti on the Water
by
Moti Ferreira lived her life pleasing others. She always did what was expected of her. Moti's entire family took off on a cruise for her cousin's wedding in Greek. Her entire life she has been told by her mother who her soulmate would be so when by chance she meets this person she was determined that he was her future because that's all she knew.
I honestly did not expected to find this book to be so funny but the more I read; page after page I couldn't helped the giggles and the laughter. I utterly enjoy Moti's character and her thought process. Her comments made me laugh so hard so many times. Her entire family was peculiar and interesting. I found myself devouring this book as fast as I could because it was so good and I just couldn't get enough.
We meet Alex who stole my heart and tummy right away with his fascinating cooking skills. He was such a wonderful character and made the story more interesting; the chemistry between him and Moti were on point and I had all the butterflies every time they were together. Alex was the chef assigned to the boat for the cousin's wedding. He made the trip for everyone much enjoyable. With a big family and a lot of characters this book delivers such a unique and fascinating story. There was a scene that it caught me by surprise, I was not expecting it and it made it for an unforgettable story.
Moti On The Water is such a wonderful summer story about family, love and finding your own path. I absolutely loved everything about it. The characters were interesting and hilarious, the story was different and refreshing! I laughed so much on several occasions is definitely light but yet satisfying. Readers looking for a fun, light, and yet hilarious summer story will find this book appealing.

❝"And you? I assume, are trying to swim?" He squatted beside the pool and motioned to my neck float. I didn't feel like explaining myself to a guy who had nicer hair than me.❞

❝Gravity seized to exist when I was with him...The past blurred, the future evaporated. The place we intersected was all that we had, and it was magical.❞
