it was amazing

I highly recommend this book.
MAISIE is a seven-year-old blind girl who is also an orphan. Her world is not pretty. She is neglected and abused. But when Maisie closes her eyes, the world changes. She enters a mysterious land called Mageia, a place where she is no longer blind but in fact has fantastic sight and incredible magic powers.
Mageia is also inhabited by a cast of amazing fantasy creatures and many other characters, but it is likewise fraught with danger. And therein lies Maisie’s destiny. She must try to save this wonderful world from the evil intent on destroying it.
I am quite in awe of this author’s lyrical voice. Her narrative is smooth and enchanting. She makes the unbelievable believable and the fantastic relatable. No wonder readers of the fantasy genre find her work so appealing. The pace of the story is lovely and fluid. It flows like a river twisting and turning, carrying the reader straight through to the perfect conclusion.
