Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) I thought of this group activity because I think it will be good to step out of our reading comfort zone once in a while. It is also a good way of meeting new people, making friends and trying out new books.

So, what is a Booklist Exchange?

Every month, there will be a theme and we will make a personal list of 5 books for the said theme. It should be something that you have read or want to read. You just have to remember that your list should be related to the theme that we have for that month. For example, if the theme for October is books that have orange covers, you'll have to choose 5 books that have that theme.

After you have chosen your books, we will be selecting a partner from you using random.org (same goes for everyone else so its fair). He/She will be reading your list for that month and you will be reading his/her list.

For the members who would like to participate, feel free to register on the link below:

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

A separate thread will be made as soon as we have members registered to the Booklist Exchange. To update your progress, please use this format.

*cover or title of the book - status (if currently reading or if done reading, put the date when you have started and finished it. - link to the review.

If you have any questions, please post them here. :)

Emma | 6 comments Is there a time limit on finishing the books?

Nicole - Life on Valley Creek Lane (nicolesdesperateforagoodread) This sounds like it could be fun but commiting to read 5 books for the month is maybe much for me. I do usually read 4 a month but would hate to let someone down.

Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) It usually is a month after it starts. So if we started 15th of November its goon to end 15th of December. :)

Ana (amyamya) | 2 comments This sounds quite interesting, however I don't get one thing: Is it just a list and the other person borrows the books from their own library/buys them or do we literally send books about and swap?

Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) its just the list that you would swap. :) you'd have to either borrow it from the library or buy the book.
