RE: DidYouKnow[edit]

Sorry for my delayed response. It looks the main issue you brought up, in regards to the third point has been fixed. As for the second point, even if it can be found in the history tab, it's still an interesting point to note. And finally in regards to Smash Bros., we consider it as an extended part of the franchise, and have covered the series fairly extensively, so the point is valid for the template. And to let you, your English was fine for me. Yoshi876 (talk)

Like I said, we consider Smash Bros. to be part of the franchise, you can check out our coverage policy for more info, so it's a valid thing. As for Donkey Kong, as October is the month of Halloween I generally go for "spooky" articles, but I can definitely do it for November if it hasn't been done by then. I meant to do it for September, but it slipped my mind when I went to create everything. Yoshi876 (talk)

Spotlight[edit]

(responding partially for Yoshi876) Just so you know, it might not be until November for Donkey Kong Adventure, since we usually try to stick to the theme of the month (October = Halloween = creepy/spooky-themed articles). Even on its own, Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser is kind of a similar case, and right now it's also merged with its parent article. Italics[edit]

When naming game titles like Super Mario Party, please remember to italicise them, so they should be written as Super Mario Party. For more information, please read the Manual of Style. Thanks and keep contributing! Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 21:53, 5 October 2018 (EDT)

List of Super Mario Party minigames[edit]

Hey, nice job on your first article. Thanks also for following Mario jc's advice above. There are still two things that I would suggest you do: one thing is to use the "Show preview" button to preview your changes before you actually save them so that you might be able to spot and fix broken coding; the other is to add two things below: a navigation template (in this case, SMP) and at least one category (in this case, Category:Lists since it's a list, and Category:Super Mario Party) so that it can be grouped with other articles and lists. Thanks! Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 04:41, 6 October 2018 (EDT)

RE: River Survival[edit]

Other minigame modes like Endurance Alley have gotten modes, but I haven't seen anything of River Survival, nor Super Mario Party so I can't really give an answer as to whether the mode is large enough, I'm afraid. Yoshi876 (talk)

RE: Image adding[edit]

Special:Upload. You can find this link labelled "Upload file" under "tools" on the left navigation pane. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 00:59, 16 October 2018 (EDT)

Did you add a file to upload? If the image you're uploading is saved on your computer, you select "Source filename" and click "Choose file" to browse for your image. If the image you're uploading is directly from a URL (for example: https://www.smashbros.com/data/bs/en_US/ja_JP/img/178_2.jpg), select "Source URL" and copy/paste the URL in the text box.
After that, give the file a suitable name in "Destination filename" (without removing the extension, so the ".jpg", ".png" etc. should be left there). In "Summary", the aboutfile template is filled in with the necessary details (any details you're not using, you remove), and uncategorized must be replaced with a link to an appropriate category, which can be found in Category:MarioWiki images. (So if you're uploading a Super Mario Party image, you'd go to Category:Images by game and find Category:Super Mario Party Images, which you add as a link.)
So it should look something like this:

Finally, under "Licensing", select the license for what type of image it is (e.g. video game screenshot, cover, logo), then click "Upload file" at the bottom of the page to upload. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 20:35, 18 October 2018 (EDT)

Working[edit]

So i see you are currently working on Super Mario Pary minigame list along with Bazooka Mario. How much will it take to finish? --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 09:18, 19 October 2018 (EDT)

Mainspace templates[edit]

Hey, just letting you know that you can't use mainspace templates like construction on userpages, only on articles. MarioWiki:Userspace has more details on what can and cannot go on userspace. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 05:26, 21 October 2018 (EDT)

Recent Changes Special page[edit]

Hey there! Do you usually check Special:RecentChanges, or you're editing without checking? I'm just curious. --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 09:21, 26 October 2018 (EDT)

Stubs[edit]

Hello! When creating articles, please avoid marking them as a stub, and instead try to add all of the information possible when you create the article. I fixed Looking for Love, so it won’t be a problem, but in the future, articles created as stubs will be deleted until more content can be added. --A sprite of a Flame Chomp from New Super Mario Bros. Rough edits[edit]

I've noticed you've been leaving behind a lot of coding errors in your edits. It's great that you're helping adding content, but try to make sure to check over any edits you've made before leaving them, preferably with the "Show preview" button. If you're unsure of what's causing the error, just remove the edit, or leave a note in the summary so someone can help, but try to avoid leaving behind edits altogether in a rushed and unfinished state. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 04:36, 12 November 2018 (EST)

Please try to watch your spelling as well. I know English isn't your first language, but some of the character names you added are spelled out in the source. You could also Google the name for the correct spelling. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 19:41, 15 November 2018 (EST)

RE: Spirit Spelling Problem[edit]

I'm not sure what you mean. The video spells them "Affinity" and "Merman", which are already listed in the article. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 09:03, 16 November 2018 (EST)

References[edit]

The correct format for multiple references is, for the first time you reference something:

(Format: )

And every other time you use the same reference:

Letting you know as you left another reference error at the bottom here. You can find more info on MarioWiki:Citations. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 18:59, 20 November 2018 (EST)

RE: Anchor[edit]

Linking to anchors works like sections, so after you place an anchor like Mario in a row, you would type Mario to link to it. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 04:40, 16 December 2018 (EST)

Tormiter Island[edit]

Letting you know it's spelled "Tortimer Island", as you seem to keep misspelling this and it leads to leaving behind a red link. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 19:24, 3 January 2019 (EST)

"Young Alm & Celica"[edit]

Can you source and specify which version where you're getting "Young Alm & Celica" from? Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 06:04, 21 January 2019 (EST)

Preview button[edit]

If you're going to make little edits over time and want to see how they look, use the "Show preview" button before saving. This way, you can continue editing and won't fill up page histories or the recent changes (especially when it involves your userpage). Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 13:35, 11 March 2019 (EDT)

Proposals list[edit]

When removing proposals from the proposals page, make sure you check and see if the proposal has been implemented or not (assuming it passed). Any that are still awaiting implementation (like this one) must be added to the "Unimplemented proposals" section. Also, don't forget to archive them. Dark BonesSig.png 13:27, January 28, 2021 (EST)

Late, but I'll remember that. Superbound (talk) 14:13, February 6, 2021 (EST)
