Thanks for uploading :File:Official Logo of UFZA.jpg. Hello, MonkeyKingdom. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Richard Jabo". |
|||
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply Draft:Richard Jabo and remove the db-afc, db-draft, or db-g13 code. |
|||
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it. |

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. <!-- Template:Db-draft-notice --><!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> Rollidan (talk) 00:48, 9 May 2019 (UTC) |

Hello MonkeyKingdom. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO. |
|||
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. |
|||
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are <u>required</u> by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:MonkeyKingdom. The template Paid can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: . If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. <!-- Template:Uw-paid1 --> <span style="font-family:monospace;font-weight:bold;font-size:16px;color:hsl(205, 98%, 55%);">GSS</span> 💬 13:07, 21 July 2020 (UTC) |

{{unblock reviewed | 1=A first-time offender deserves a second chance. I was not paid, I was simply used. I thought I was helping but there's no conflict of interest whatsoever otherwise I wouldn't have done what I did without following procedure. I've even edited articles of Hollywood personalities for no penny so being in Uganda and making a contribution does not mean I have to be paid, coincidences do occur. Proposed deletion of Kasirye Byaruhanga
[edit]The article Kasirye Byaruhanga has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back. Thank you,
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from afaas-africa.org/media/uploads/publications/afaas_flier_new_text_ver05.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Official AFAAS logo.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Official AFAAS logo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
Speedy deletion nomination of ACOSBE
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on ACOSBE, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Uganda Women’s Network, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Orphaned non-free image File:UNHCO logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:UNHCO logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:19, 17 October 2015 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Portrait photo of John Walugembe.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Portrait photo of John Walugembe.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add OTRS pending to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as non-free fair use or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 10:16, 13 August 2016 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Jacob Oboth-Oboth.gif
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Jacob Oboth-Oboth.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. File permission problem with File:Paul Amoru Omiat.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Paul Amoru Omiat.jpg, which you've attributed to Online.
Please stop uploading copyrighted images
[edit]Thank you for your interest in creating an article for an organization on Wikipedia. You cannot post copyrighted material on Wikipedia even if you are the copyright holder. In short, a copyright owner cannot offer Wikipedia a one-time license for use. Rather, the copyright to the material has to be released – permanently and irrevocably – into the public domain or under a free copyright license that is compatible with Wikipedia's licenses. This is because Wikipedia aims to be freely distributable and copyable by anyone, so all content must be licensed for that purpose. You can learn more about this policy at Wikipedia:Copyrights.
If you'd like to use the copyrighted content in an article, you can follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission on how to obtain the proper licensing. If you are the copyright holder, refer to Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for how to grant us permission to use your content. Alternatively, you could write a new article that does not closely paraphrase the material available online..
I'm sorry this message could not be more favourable. If you have any questions, you can leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Mlpearc (open channel) 13:46, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MonkeyKingdom, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Blocked for sockpuppetry
[edit]This account has been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for sock puppetry per evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MonkeyKingdom. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you're welcome to make useful contributions. If you believe that this block was in error, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text Your reason here ~~~~ below. Orphaned non-free image File:Official Logo of UFZA.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Official Logo of UFZA.jpg.
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 00:16, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
Non-free content use
[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically Draft:Uganda Free Zones Authority, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:24, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:Richard Jabo
[edit]Hello, MonkeyKingdom. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Richard Jabo".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the db-afc
, db-draft
, or db-g13
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rollidan (talk) 00:48, 9 May 2019 (UTC)

[edit]July 2020
[edit]Hello MonkeyKingdom.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:MonkeyKingdom. The template Paid can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form:

Request reason:
A first-time offender deserves a second chance. I was not paid, I was simply used. I thought I was helping but there's no conflict of interest whatsoever otherwise I wouldn't have done what I did without following procedure. I have been editing pages since 2014 with no qualms whatsoever, please judge my article for what it is; fair and balanced. Compare my edit to the previous revisions and see which is which. I've even edited articles of Hollywood personalities for no penny so being in Uganda and making a contribution does not mean I have to be paid, coincidences do occur. I deserve a fair hearing and a reinstatement of my previous account's status. Judge my article for what it is and if you're not satisfied with my work, undo the changes. This does not address the sockpuppetry. 331dot (talk) 06:50, 22 July 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
Dear, 331dot, I'm not being accused of sockpuppetry, I have only one account which is independent. I was simply accused of being paid which is not the case. The sockpuppet is perhaps one of the other article editors because personally I've had my account since 2014, a fact you can prove also. MonkeyKingdom (talk) MonkeyKingdom (talk) 12:36, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Procedural decline only. You claim you are not being accused of sockpuppetry, but that's not accurate. Your block log clearly notes that you are blocked for sock/meatpuppetry. I haven't reviewed your unblock request on its merits, I'm just procedurally declining this because you appear to believe sockpuppetry is not a factor in your block. - MonkeyKingdom, in your first unblock request above you said
I was not paid, I was simply used
so do you mind explaining how you were used and by whom? and please also explain the reason for using IP addresses to recreate your deleted article just a day after your sock account MudduAwulira was blocked back in July 2018 GSS 💬 12:52, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
- GSS, using Wikipedia is a 5-year course in itself, most things you learn them through mistakes unintended most times. Back then (2018) I used to think a Wikimedia account is separate from a Wikipedia account so I didn't exactly know that you could have one account for both. That issue was rectified at the time, and we agreed that I should simply have one account for both. It's a work in progress mastering the online encyclopedia.
- Yamla, GSS flagged me for paid advertising then MER-C on blocking me noticed that that particular article had back then been edited by a sockpuppet which is coincidental. Personally, I can only avail defence for the paid advertising accusation because the sockpuppetry charge is on another entity.
- It is not the case that the sockpuppetry charge is on another entity. The charge is against you and is clear in your block log. --Yamla (talk) 13:47, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
- Yamla, if you check the date on my block log regarding sockpuppetry, you do realize that that incident was resolved two years ago. Using Wikipedia is a 5-year course in itself, most things you learn them through mistakes unintended most times. - The block message for your current block, the one from 2020-07-21, is exactly: "Spam / advertising-only account, likely covert advertising and sock/meatpuppetry see Draft:Pascal Mouawad". I simply cannot understand why you think sockpuppetry does not make up part of your block when it clearly does. You are free to argue you did not commit sockpuppetry and/or meatpuppetry, but you cannot argue that this does not make up part of your block. This is the last time I will point this out to you. --Yamla (talk) 10:35, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

MER-C, please help add an end-date to my suspension because I have disclosed the likely 'COI' in regards to my contributions to Draft:Pascal Mouawad whose unintended omission (due to ignorance of the need to do so) was the cause of my indefinite suspension. I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 19:58, 24 July 2020 (UTC)

- @Boing! said Zebedee: I truly understand why it was wrong to make changes to a draft article without disclosing to the Wikipedia fraternity that I had been hired to do so. As such, I have officially disclosed that fact on my User talk page. I also do understand the sockpuppetry charge and through the discussions we had on talk pages regarding the matter, I came to understand that prior to my hiring, my employer had hired Kakuturi to make changes to Draft:Pascal Mouawad who turned out to be a ‘sockpuppet’. Personally, I made one very detailed edit (compare revisions) which was flagged for paid advertising. Going forward, I will not continue to cause damage or disruption and will endeavour to make useful contributions instead and; will adhere to following Wikipedia policies always. I have read in detail what has to be done to avoid similar disruptions. MonkeyKingdom (talk) 07:13, 25 July 2020 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.

Speedy deletion nomination of Richard Musani
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Richard Musani requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Cartney23 (talk) 16:01, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
