Of course the table is about the 3DS vs. the DS series. However, you have failed to understand why I undid your edit twice. I'm saying that the section is not supposed to ''name'' the buttons: It's to compare what ''kinds'' of buttons are on the different systems. In short: The section is not supposed to say, "Oh, the 3DS has A, B, X, and Y buttons, like the DS series." It's to say, "The 3DS has push-buttons, like the DS series." Your rationale for revert my edits twice is that some buttons aren't push-buttons, etc. ''I am aware of that.'' If what ''kind'' of button needs to be specified, then you are welcome to fix that. :::It's okay, I misunderstood what you meant too. But yeah, the sliders, while both being sliders, have pretty different effects, where as all the push buttons do essentially the same thing. It's one of those things where, if too much details goes into these charts, it's gets cluttered and/or overwhelming. [[User:Sergecross73|< |

:What made you think it's unsourced?? edit: Haha oh wow how that phrase appeared in my mind! Well I think it's relevant because when something decided to quit or something, it will create group of protestors that wanted to bring it back to work. One largest protestor group was formed within facebook. Unreliable? Unnoticable? Oh please! <span style="font-family:StarFox64; font-size:12px;">[[User:Rukario-sama|< |

Hi. I see you [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Comparison_of_Nintendo_portable_consoles&diff=578928017&oldid=578882904 reverted] some of my recent revisions to that table. May I ask if you saw something wrong with my edits or why would you like the footnotes over the text within the cells? Personally, the way they were done, I definitely don't think either was perfect, but I have reasons to prefer very much the version you deleted... Maybe we could work together and reach some kind of compromise? :) Thanks. [[User:Daniel Carrero|Daniel Carrero]] ([[User talk:Daniel Carrero|talk]]) 11:42, 27 October 2013 (UTC) |

:I felt that older table with notes was better... notes better left in abc list than to in fill in (parentheses) everywhere in the table. It's a matter of opinion. On a side note, TheStickMan reverted my edits saying that we should follow table layout from the source.<span style="text-shadow: 0px 0px 2px #58f;">[[User:Rukario-sama|< |

:::I searched through my contribution list but couldn't find it. I could recall someone (maybe not TheStickMan) reverted my edits because it isn't the same as the source. I can't remember what was my edits nor if that's the correct table I've edited on XD sorry it was long time ago. Oh well, all I know, the source can be used to backup someone's claim. I can almost remember it was used against me for that table.<span style="text-shadow: 0px 0px 2px #58f;">[[User:Rukario-sama|< |

:::::True, the source can be used to backup someone's claim. But there's a problem with how it's done at the moment: The table at [[Comparison of Nintendo portable consoles#Software comparison]] was [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Comparison_of_Nintendo_portable_consoles&oldid=422832596 originally] a verbatim copy of http://www.nintendo.com/3ds/software-comparison, down to the placement of footnotes, and is still almost identical to the page at Nintendo.com, which I believe is copyright violation. |

You apparently misunderstand some basic Wikipedia behavioral policies. Editors shall not make [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Amiibo&diff=645559186&oldid=645558229 edits without detailed explanation], especially invasive edits; the onus is on the editor to explain one's self, not on everyone else to scramble to research and discern the editor's intended meaning, if any, and to try to differentiate the edit from potential vandalism. To try to correct vandalism by creating a different disruptive behavior, isn't good, as you've [[User_talk:Rukario-sama#Not_providing_an_edit_summary | already been instructed]]. Editors shall communicate through clear language ([[WP:REVERT]]), not through edit warring ([[WP:3RR]]), especially not silently, especially when corrected repeatedly and solicited for explanation. And editors will not [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Amiibo&diff=645565786&oldid=645565576 commit personal attacks] ([[WP:NPA]]), especially when caught blatantly violating said policy. I see that you copied every applicable Wii U game to the [[List of video game exclusives (eighth generation)]] article. You are perfectly entitled to do so, of course, it's just that the page begins to slow down, the larger its file size. There are some 263 8th-gen PlayStation 4 exclusives, yet I only listed some of the more notable examples for this very reason. Can you imagine how long it would take to load the article if every PS4 and XBO title was included? It would be unworkable! Could I possibly persuade you to remove some of the more obscure Wii U titles from the list? — [[User:ThePowerofX|TPX]] 09:47, 29 October 2015 (UTC) |

:I don't think removing the less notable games is something that Wikipedia wanted ([[WP:COMPREHENSIVE]]? And possibly violates [[WP:NPOV]]). But I've excluded the Wii games that are eShop-exclusive and you can see how it might look like here: [[user:Rukario-sama/sandbox]]. Notice that there are many games with red links removed! Though there are still some notable games that are eShop-exclusive that got excluded. But again, it'd might violate some Wikipedia standards if I've only included more notable ones and ignore the rest. Should [[List of video game exclusives (eighth generation)]] to only include games that are available in retail, or include both retail and download? More PS4 & XBone games are welcomed I guess. On a side note, the refs are definitely in need of a clean up and possibly delete the upcoming games when it has the expired TBA dates and the source that's over 1yr ago. <span style="text-shadow: 0px 0px 2px #58f;">[[User:Rukario-sama|< |

:[[Template:Vgrtbl]] will use the current date when the third parameter were left blank, so that's what we're seeing it as "February 28, 2016". This template without third parameter stayed because it'd require too much of work to copy/paste this template for each date added. I know, it's not much of an excuse when they've been there for too long... I've filled in the empty third parameters now. <span style="text-shadow: 0px 0px 2px #58f;">[[User:Rukario-sama|< |

What you did on [[List of Wii games]], is utterly confusing for me to try and find release dates for the remaining games on the list. I don't know why you decided to change without having the list be completed with the remaining release date. Could you explain why you should change it now instead of wait until every release date is found on the page? :Wasn't [[List of Wii games]] originally had JP|EU|AUS|NA not JP|NA|EU|AUS? There's a new consensus going around that alphabetical order should be followed. We can only manipulate the headings to the way we want to stay true with alphabetical order. [[List of Nintendo Switch games]] recently received the new headings: JP|NA|PAL, then [[List of Wii U software]] and [[List of Wii games]] now pursuit a follow up changes in a slightly different headings for the "consistency" argument that TPX has recently brought up in [[Talk:List of Nintendo Switch games]]. EU coming before AUS in the headings will not follow alphabetical order. Do you have any idea what to edit the headings to work like EU|AUS while not breaking the alphabetical order? Or even better, try to accustom to this newly aligned column order... <span style="text-shadow: 0px 0px 2px #58f;">[[User:Rukario-sama|< |

I have removed your speedy tags from {{tl|XConsole}} and {{tl|NX}} because both templates are still in use. Worse, because you did not bracket the speedy tags with <code><nowiki><noinclude></noinclude></nowiki></code> you caused several other pages which use these templates to be sent, spuriously to [[CAT:CSD]]. — [[User:RHaworth|RHaworth]] ([[User talk:RHaworth|talk]] '''·''' [[Special:Contributions/RHaworth|contribs]]) 19:12, 5 February 2017 (UTC) |

== Gamelist counter. == |
|||
Could you implement the gamelist counter used in List of Nintendo Switch games in the List of Wii games? Cause I added in the multiplatform part a few months ago and I didn't know how many games appear as multiplatform because there are a lot on there and it would take a lot of time to count them all. So could you do that for me? I would really appreciate it! Thank you. [[User:Zacharyalejandro|Zacharyalejandro]] ([[User talk:Zacharyalejandro|talk]]) 20:43, 4 April 2017 (UTC) |

:It'd be possible to include this template into list of Wii games if the exclusive column is using the same template names as used in List of Nintendo Switch games I.E. [[Template:Yes]], [[Template:No]], etc.. Another possible solution is to duplicate that game counter template in a different template name then edit its search strings to find [[Template:Exclusive]], [[Template:XCC]], etc, and it could be used in List of Wii U games as well only if we're fine with seeing numbers in parentheses gone. I'm terribly new to Lua language, so these are all I can think that'll work. I have better luck with regular expression and command line. <span style="text-shadow: 0px 0px 2px #58f;">[[User:Rukario-sama|<span style="color: #58f;">Rukario</span><span style="color: #555;">-sama</span>]]</span> <span style="text-shadow: 0px 0px 2px #555;">[[User talk:Rukario-sama|<span style="color: #555;">^ㅈ^ -(...)</span>]]</span> 03:55, 11 April 2017 (UTC) |

Rukario-sama, it seems that you keep moving the Firefox version history chart from the [[History of Firefox]] article to the [[Firefox version history]] article and making a lot of duplicate reference links while breaking the References section. == Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks! == |
|||
Hello, |
|||
[[:mw:Google Code-in/2019|Google Code-In]], Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia. |
|||
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at [[:mw:Google Code-in/2019|the contest page]] and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in! |
|||
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community. |
|||
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org. |
|||
Thank you! |

Buttons
[edit]Of course the table is about the 3DS vs. the DS series. However, you have failed to understand why I undid your edit twice. I'm saying that the section is not supposed to name the buttons: It's to compare what kinds of buttons are on the different systems. In short: The section is not supposed to say, "Oh, the 3DS has A, B, X, and Y buttons, like the DS series." It's to say, "The 3DS has push-buttons, like the DS series." Your rationale for revert my edits twice is that some buttons aren't push-buttons, etc. I am aware of that. If what kind of button needs to be specified, then you are welcome to fix that. TheStickMan[✆Talk] 01:37, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- I agree with Stick Man. There is no need to distinguish between buttons. A button is a button. Please stop reverting this. Sergecross73 msg me 02:15, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- Can you really not tell the difference between "A button and B button" and "A button and 3D slider". Do I really need to explain why they are different? Sergecross73 msg me 03:38, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- It's okay, I misunderstood what you meant too. But yeah, the sliders, while both being sliders, have pretty different effects, where as all the push buttons do essentially the same thing. It's one of those things where, if too much details goes into these charts, it's gets cluttered and/or overwhelming. Sergecross73 msg me 14:01, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Nintendo table
[edit]Hi. I see you reverted some of my recent revisions to that table. May I ask if you saw something wrong with my edits or why would you like the footnotes over the text within the cells? Personally, the way they were done, I definitely don't think either was perfect, but I have reasons to prefer very much the version you deleted... Maybe we could work together and reach some kind of compromise? :) Thanks. Daniel Carrero (talk) 11:42, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
- I felt that older table with notes was better... notes better left in abc list than to in fill in (parentheses) everywhere in the table. It's a matter of opinion. On a side note, TheStickMan reverted my edits saying that we should follow table layout from the source.Rukario-sama ^ㅈ^ -(...) 06:21, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- I searched all the history of Comparison of Nintendo portable consoles for changes by you and User:The Stick Man to the software comparison table and turns out I didn't find the exact reversion of edits you mentioned... - I searched through my contribution list but couldn't find it. I could recall someone (maybe not TheStickMan) reverted my edits because it isn't the same as the source. I can't remember what was my edits nor if that's the correct table I've edited on XD sorry it was long time ago. Oh well, all I know, the source can be used to backup someone's claim. - I honestly don't remember either. TheStickMan[✆Talk] 12:47, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
- True, the source can be used to backup someone's claim. But there's a problem with how it's done at the moment: The table at Comparison of Nintendo portable consoles#Software comparison was originally a verbatim copy of http://www.nintendo.com/3ds/software-comparison, down to the placement of footnotes, and is still almost identical to the page at Nintendo.com, which I believe is copyright violation.
- I'd like to keep the same information but with original wording. (My last revision, with the text within the cells and in a more concise manner, is one way to do it, but others might have different ideas) Daniel Carrero (talk) 14:16, 2 November 2013 (UTC)
- You could've said that before... yeah I agree we should write notes in our words. FYI I must have remembered wrong about someone reverted my edits - nobody reverted my edits. It was me making an edit and felt it was no good and closed it without save :P I remember that now. Collegial behavior
[edit]You apparently misunderstand some basic Wikipedia behavioral policies. Editors shall not make edits without detailed explanation, especially invasive edits; the onus is on the editor to explain one's self, not on everyone else to scramble to research and discern the editor's intended meaning, if any, and to try to differentiate the edit from potential vandalism. To try to correct vandalism by creating a different disruptive behavior, isn't good, as you've already been instructed. Editors shall communicate through clear language (WP:REVERT), not through edit warring (WP:3RR), especially not silently, especially when corrected repeatedly and solicited for explanation. And editors will not commit personal attacks (WP:NPA), especially when caught blatantly violating said policy. Editors can be blocked for wanton violation of these policies. — Smuckola (Email) (Talk) 06:57, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
- I will keep that in mind. My apologies. Rukario-sama ^ㅈ^ -(...) 07:15, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
A kitten for you!
[edit]I just wanted to randomly say that I had been away from Wikipedia for a long time, but that I'd read and appreciated the definitions that you'd clarified about the word "figurine". I didn't reply, but it'd been percolating around in my mind since then, and I've been maintaining the Amiibo article with the word "figurine" instead of "figure" since I came back. Also IMHO, I think the giant sized figures like the classic GI Joe or the modern superhuge Stormtroopers are creepy and unwieldy and outrageously expensive. I don't know how any kid is supposed to play with those, lol. FYI!

List of video game exclusives
[edit]I see that you copied every applicable Wii U game to the List of video game exclusives (eighth generation) article. — TPX 09:47, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
- I don't think removing the less notable games is something that Wikipedia wanted (WP:COMPREHENSIVE? And possibly violates WP:NPOV). But I've excluded the Wii games that are eShop-exclusive and you can see how it might look like here: user:Rukario-sama/sandbox. Notice that there are many games with red links removed! Though there are still some notable games that are eShop-exclusive that got excluded. But again, it'd might violate some Wikipedia standards if I've only included more notable ones and ignore the rest. Should List of video game exclusives (eighth generation) to only include games that are available in retail, or include both retail and download? More PS4 & XBone games are welcomed I guess. On a side note, the refs are definitely in need of a clean up and possibly delete the upcoming games when it has the expired TBA dates and the source that's over 1yr ago. February 2016
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Sergecross73 msg me 23:03, 20 February 2016 (UTC)

- Template:Vgrtbl will use the current date when the third parameter were left blank, so that's what we're seeing it as "February 28, 2016". This template without third parameter stayed because it'd require too much of work to copy/paste this template for each date added. List of Wii U software/missing games and references
[edit]Hello. I have noticed that there are a lot of games that need to be added from time to time since April 25th or since my last edit on the games. If you can possibly find out what games need to be added, because regularly there are many games being added over time. Here is where you can look and add to the list:

Comply changes back to JP, NA, EU, AUS until release dates are found.
[edit]What you did on List of Wii games, is utterly confusing for me to try and find release dates for the remaining games on the list. I don't know why you decided to change without having the list be completed with the remaining release date. Could you explain why you should change it now instead of wait until every release date is found on the page? Zacharyalejandro (talk) 18:28, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
- Wasn't List of Wii games originally had JP|EU|AUS|NA not JP|NA|EU|AUS? There's a new consensus going around that alphabetical order should be followed. We can only manipulate the headings to the way we want to stay true with alphabetical order. List of Nintendo Switch games recently received the new headings: JP|NA|PAL, then List of Wii U software and List of Wii games now pursuit a follow up changes in a slightly different headings for the "consistency" argument that TPX has recently brought up in Talk:List of Nintendo Switch games. EU coming before AUS in the headings will not follow alphabetical order. Do you have any idea what to edit the headings to work like EU|AUS while not breaking the alphabetical order? Or even better, try to accustom to this newly aligned column order... Rukario-sama ^ㅈ^ -(...) 01:37, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
- Well I'm used to the JP, EU, AUS, NA heading. I guess I'll just have to live with it since it will take me time to get acquainted with the new heading on List of Wii games. Zacharyalejandro (talk) 18:48, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
Converting AUS to AU for titles, developers and publishers.
[edit]When I was updating the List of Wii games page, updated with developers and publishers and all that, I thought to myself, 'if we are listing these pages with Australasia instead of Australia, could we change all the AUS into AU? What are your thoughts? Zacharyalejandro (talk) 17:45, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
- AU as in Australia and AUS for Australasia? Or the other way around? Rukario-sama ^ㅈ^ -(...) 05:20, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
- The other way around, change from AUS to AU as in Australasia, like how the letters AUS meant for Australia and AU is for Australasia, if that makes sense. Zacharyalejandro (talk) 07:34, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
- Oh, okay, I thought it's the other way because Australasia has two extra letters "as" unlike Australia. This wouldn't matter once we go with full region name in the headings, but for superscript letters in date cells if you are certain Australasia = "AU" then yea we could try convert AUS to AU in them. Utter sloppiness
[edit]I have removed your speedy tags from {{XConsole}} and {{NX}} because both templates are still in use. Worse, because you did not bracket the speedy tags with <noinclude></noinclude>

Gamelist counter.
[edit]Could you implement the gamelist counter used in List of Nintendo Switch games in the List of Wii games? Cause I added in the multiplatform part a few months ago and I didn't know how many games appear as multiplatform because there are a lot on there and it would take a lot of time to count them all. So could you do that for me? I would really appreciate it! Thank you. Zacharyalejandro (talk) 20:43, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
- It'd be possible to include this template into list of Wii games if the exclusive column is using the same template names as used in List of Nintendo Switch games I.E. Template:Yes, Template:No, etc.. Another possible solution is to duplicate that game counter template in a different template name then edit its search strings to find Template:Exclusive, Template:XCC, etc, and it could be used in List of Wii U games as well only if we're fine with seeing numbers in parentheses gone. I'm terribly new to Lua language, so these are all I can think that'll work. I have better luck with regular expression and command line. Rukario-sama ^ㅈ^ -(...) 03:55, 11 April 2017 (UTC)

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

[edit]Kiwi Farms edits
[edit]Hi, please see the discussion here: Talk:Kiwi Farms#URL

- Oh, nevermind! I see that you've already commented. But still, you may want to think about engaging in the conversation a bit more rather than boldly adding the URL like that, especially following an edit war. Please think about WP:BLP considerations. Cheers! 98.155.8.5 (talk) 20:18, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you. I'd hate to get involved into discussion that's going to be get a little too long but I'll comment there for one last time and then I'll want to be done with it. Rukario-sama ^ㅈ^ -(...) 23:54, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Rukario-sama: where did you interact with this IP address prior to the Kiwi Farms RFC? It seems like you two were having a separate conversation elsewhere. Pilaz (talk) 16:06, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- I don't have previous conversations with this guy. Maybe I was being contacted because I have higher editor status. Rukario-sama ^ㅈ^ -(...) 20:11, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- Seems to be somewhat within WP:CANVASS territory; luckily you had already taken place in the discussion, so we'll take this nudge by this IP editor with a grain of salt and treat it as a failed canvass attempt on their part. There seems to be no connection other that they must have really liked what you wrote somewhere on the Kiwi Farms talk page, I assume. Pilaz (talk) 23:12, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

Discretionary sanctions alert - gender and sexuality
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in gender-related disputes or controversies or in people associated with them. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
