Len is responsible for one of the major hentai scenes in Tsukihime, in which she gives Shiki a dream of 'who he most desires'. This is Aruceid's gift for fighting Chaos, even if she does it without Shiki's consent. This can lead to hilarious results, since both Ciel and Aruceid can tell a dream was sent. If Shiki ends up with Aruceid in the scene, Aruceid forces Shiki to tell, creating quite an awkward moment.

Len (レン, Ren) is a fictional character from the Japanese visual novel Tsukihime and its sequel Kagetsu Tohya, created by TYPE-MOON. She also has an appearance in its spin-off, Melty Blood. She is voiced in Melty Blood by Kaori Mizuhashi.

Her birthday is September 9th.

Profile

Len is a Succubus Demon Familiar with the ability to manipulate dreams, created from infusing the soul of a deceased human girl into the body of a cat. As such, she is capable of shifting between the forms of a black cat and a prepubescent human girl. She once served a Magus several centuries ago, after whose death she was taken under the care of Arcueid Brunestud. Although she was under Arcueid's charge, because Arcueid is not human, they were unable to create a contract, therefore Len is not considered Arcueid's Familiar.

Although in the original Tsukihime she served as little more than a plot device, she plays a major role in its sequel, Kagetsu Tohya. When the main character, Shiki Tohno is placed under a coma after an accident in which he saves a kitten from a speeding dump truck, she takes it upon herself to keep him alive by putting him through a recurring dream sequence, repeating the same day over and over, his memory wiped clean for each day. Things start to get chaotic, however, as Shiki's split psyche, as well as her dangerously, even fatally low reserves of Mana, causes things to fall apart. Len puts her all into keeping things in order, while Shiki is slowly starting to gain a realization of his situation. After confronting his split personality, as well as his image of death, he saves Len by creating a Contract with her and becomes her new Master, thereby giving her a new source of Mana.
