Is it possible to put also the other logo?
The International Network on Offshore Renewable Energy (INORE) is a not-for-profit, global academic network of early stage researchers, ie. research students, post-doctoral and industrial researchers whose research focus is directly related to any aspect of the development of offshore renewable energy, without being topic specific.
The organisation provides academic events to it's members including workshops which are conducted alongside international conferences, and annual symposia which are stand alone in nature.
The organisation receives minimal funding through sponsorship from utilities companies (currently Statkraft, the Norwegian state owned utility) and events are either payed for by attendees, or sponsored via normal academic funding channels (the 2008 symposium was sponsored in part by ESRC, a Research Council in the United Kingdom).
The INORE ethos is stated as, and due to the fact that it is a network of predominantly young people, one of “informal yet professional development.“
The mission of INORE
INORE's mission, as stated on it's webpage[1], is:[2]
- to enhance the development of offshore renewable energy
- to create the opportunity for early stage researchers with the same overall objectives to meet each other
- to do so regardless of different background and nationality
″The target is to create and sustain a truly international, interdisciplinary and active network of young researchers who work on issues related to offshore renewable energy, striving to include members from all continents, backgrounds and positions.″
