Template:WP Caribbean Navigation This WikiProject was formed to foster better articles on the countries of the Caribbean with a spirit of cooperation. If you would like to join the project, simply add your name to the list of participants and begin editing (see the list of open tasks for ideas).
Goals
The goals of this project are to:
- create, improve, and maintain articles relating to the countries of the Caribbean and the Caribbean Sea, their history, people, geography, and culture. Included are the independent nations of Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the dependencies of Anguilla, Aruba, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, Turks and Caicos Islands, the United States Virgin Islands, and the Caribbean Sea. We shall also deal with the countries of Belize, Guyana, and Surinam, given their close cultural and political connections to the Caribbean.
- assist with the Portal:Caribbean.
Scope
The scope of this project is all articles which fall in the

We acknowledge up front that there may be other WikiProjects, both now and in the future, which deal directly with individual nations or areas within the above. We are grateful for their efforts, and will concentrate our own on those areas which are not covered by a currently existing project.
Note that Category:Bermuda and Category:Saint Pierre and Miquelon, while not Caribbean countries, have also been included within the scope of this project — Bermuda is a member of CARICOM, and as a North Atlantic island which is an overseas territory of France, St. Pierre and Miquelon have some common interests with Martinique, Guadeloupe and St. Barthélemy.
