Disambiguation link notification for April 12
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jones Dairy Farm, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hogs (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Edits to Lambretta
Hello, I'm Rocknrollmancer. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Lambretta, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Socks
There is an indefinitely blocked user who is fixated on me and creates socks to make bad faith edits to disrupt articles I am working on. I am sorry that you are affected by their activity. Please do read WP:REVERTBAN. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 16:03, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
- Ok, understood. But we need to have that text somehow in order to discuss it? GigglesnortHotel (talk) 18:45, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
- Why in the world would you give any credence to something written by a person who was indefinitely blocked for disruption, has created many, many socks, and uses each of them solely for disruption? It is not unlikely that they just made up that quote. It ~may~ be accurate but we have no reason to AGF here. Jytdog (talk) 06:35, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
- Well, it seems to me the sock is beside the point. The book is published and anyone could look at it. I will attempt to find a copy. GigglesnortHotel (talk) 15:05, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Hello GigglesnortHotel. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that you shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at King Maritne. It is also suggested that pages that might meet CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately.
