Proposed Splitting [Verdict = No Split]

I'd like to propose splitting the article. Night Nurse, the character, is certainly a much more mainstream character now, than she was, say, six months ago. The part about the 70's comic series, should be put into a new article, Night Nurse (comic series), while the current Night Nurse, Linda Callisto, keeps this article.Goldenboy|talk|contribs 20:26, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say... no. There's no reason too. Just keep all that stuff in the same article. Night Nurse really isn't going to be filling up the pages or anything, so as to warrant a new page. I could see it with somebody like Wolverine, but not Night Nurse. Kusonaga 20:36, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I say no, for the same reason Kusonaga gave. I don't see this page ever becoming so unwieldy to warrant a split. --SHODAN 20:37, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Shodan, keep all information under one heading. NIGHT NURSE is also a Barbara Stanwick movie. Sean Welch66.168.27.175 01:20, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yah. Gotta vote no on this one. I think it would be over complicating things, especially given that the characters seem to give homage to one another. -- User:ScreenwriterJeb

No, I don't see why, especially since it seems she's the same character as the 70s. --Leocomix 13:19, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, nearly a year since I proposed the split. In light of "new" information...forget it :p - Goldenboy 16:23, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merging

I think the two sections should somehow be merged, since it turns out the current Night Nurse is Linda, and not a separate character. --DrBat 16:15, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Night nurses nn01.png

Image:Night nurses nn01.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

File:Nightnurse-marcosmartin.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

An image used in this article, File:Nightnurse-marcosmartin.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 18 November 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review
