Amkette EvoTV also know as Evo TV is a smart tv device based on Google’s Android operating system. EvoTV integrates Internet and Web 2.0 features into television sets, as well as the technological convergence between computers and these television sets. The device has a higher focus on online interactive media, Internet TV, over-the-top content, streaming media, and less focus on traditional broadcast media than traditional television sets and set-top boxes.EvoTV was officially launched on 13 June 2012.[1].


Hardware

EvoTV runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and has a 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.[2].. It features four USB ports, one HDMI port, SD/MMC slot, Ethernet port, A/V jack and SPDIF slot and comes with Wi-Fi compatibility. With these options, you can easily link to a TV, keyboard, mouse, hard disk, broadband connection, which can be used on a television . It is also a media player that has HD video playback at 1080p.[3].
