Cascade Blanche
The Cascade Blanche (or Cascade de Ravine Blanche) is a waterfall on the island of La Réunion, a French overseas department in the southwestern Indian Ocean.
Formed by the Ravine Blanche, a tributary of the Rivière du Mât, the Cascade Blanche is located on the territory of the municipality of Bras-Panon but is nevertheless often associated with Salazie, being especially visible from the road to Salazie. It is also located in the Reunion National Park.
The Cascade Blanche has a height of 640 meters, making it one of the highest waterfalls in the world and in French territory. The fall is divided into 3 sections, the largest measuring 400 meters. It is possible to practice canyoning in the waterfall.
