SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 22:23, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Turton

[edit]

Hello Telsa. I'm from Edgworth, but I live in East Yorkshire at the moment. I want to expand the Edgworth entry and make some new ones for Bolton Town Hall and Civic Centre if I can.

I shall try to get a photograph of the stocks when I go to see my parents at Easter - as far as I know they are still there.AFCR 10:02, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have dug out photographs of the stocks at Chapeltown and of Turton Tower and added them to the appropriate pages.AFCR 14:06, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad you like the photo - I cropped it from a wider image of the little garden, AFCR 09:18, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article is still the subject of much controversy. If you could find time to look at it and perhaps make a contribution to the debate, it would be appreciated. Deb 14:45, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Terry Nutkins and Gemini

[edit]

Yes, you're right - he did have a sealion called Gemini! See this Guardian article for example. 86.143.48.9 02:04, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much for your kind remarks on my plot summary for The Nine Tailors. Like you, I love the book very much: the description of the flooded Fen country with the bells bawling their alarm still raises the hair on my arms no matter how many times I read it. Sayers' books tend to be densely plotted (though not all as densely as this) and it's a great exercise to try and reduce them to a clear summary in just a couple of paragraphs. (Helps me understand them better too!)--Karenjc 11:47, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your quick response & kind remarks on my first article! I actually wrote it for my own benefit: I was reviewing & considering revising a piano piece I had begun composing years ago which I had titled "Sonatina", realized I wasn't quite sure what the exact definition of the term was, and (of course) sought help first of all from Wikipedia; but "answer came there none"! I didn't originally know for sure whether the name was ever used for a piece for anything other than solo piano or harpsichord, but after you raised the issue a careful search of Wikipedia for combinations came up with several examples, so I added links to a couple. English

[edit]

Thank you for that — definitely very interesting stuff! I'm very grateful you took the time and trouble to reply. It's interesting isn't it that you think of language as something so set and solid, when really it's basically all over the place, and evolves so much over time. My apologies!

[edit]

I apologize for minor edits and such. I shall refrain from minor edit changes! Drachenfyre (talk) 10:52, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dog Soldiers 2

[edit]

Please stop deleting the plot. This is not speculation, the second plot has been confirmed by the director and other people involved with the project. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.100.132.143 (talk) 08:18, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bridgend

[edit]

As previously suggested at Talk:Bridgend_suicide_incidents, I have proposed merging Bridgend suicide incidents into Bridgend#Spate of youth suicides. I noticed you had reservations about the need for the separate article, so would encourage you to comment - you can read the proposal at Talk:Bridgend#Merger_proposal. New Wales Coast Path WikiProject

[edit]
Living Paths! Logo

As a member of WikiProject Wales, WikiProject Cardiff or an user who has contributed to Welsh articles we invite you to contribute to a new project, Living Paths!: articles, images, translations... Lonely Planet rated the coast of Wales "the best region on Earth" in 2012, yet there is a very low number of articles on the history and culture of places along the Coastal Path. This promises to be an exciting project as it gathers momentum with many Users joining in across the world.

If you are interested in training groups in Wales, please leave a message on the Talk Page.
Let's make this WikiProject, like the path itself, the best on earth! And let's put Wales back on the map!

Sorry to hear that you are gone ...

[edit]

... you will be missed. I didn't know you all that well from Wikipedia, but I remember your work on GNOME and remember your being on usenet, back in the day. Not many of us out there working on minority/Celtic languages - your contributions will be missed. - Alison 19:05, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to hear that you are not among us anymore!

[edit]

I do remember some of your useful edits. Rest in peace dear Tesla! Regards, Hamid Hassani (talk) 12:48, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
