Image for Deletion
[edit]You nominated Image:EmilyOsment1.jpg for deletion but you didn't start a discussion on images and media for deletion or any kind of reason. The picture is released under creative commons. What's the deal? --Phoenix Hacker 05:59, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Whoops, forgot the discussion page there... On Dutch Wikipedia we have a bot that automatically notifies every user, so I guess I'm starting to get used to that ;)
- About the picture: Although it was released here, I came across this same picture on some other pages (e.g. [1]). Not just her at the same event, but I mean exactly this same picture. Should my assumption be true, this creative commons tag should not have been there in the first place. I have now contacted the uploader on his talk page (which I happened to see you did, too) so now I hope we will soon know more.
- Is contacting him through his talk page enough? Or do I need to add something to the image's discussion, too? Erik1980 07:02, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
- That picture has the same background but it doesn't look like the same picture to me at all. It's reasonable to assume there were other photographers taking pictures. This alone isn't rational to delete the picture. --Phoenix Hacker 07:25, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Hello there! I apologize for the fact that I haven't been on Wikipedia in a while. I had to go down to Santa Monica and stay for a few days :) Gotta say I love the weather out here. Anyway, you can find our official site at santamonicanews.info. Since we just got our web presence this year, we are currently under contract with GoDaddy to provide a free hosting service while our developer builds the SQL databases we need. Once that is done (estimated within 1 month), we will transfer it over to our new server, and go from there. As far as updates, our webmaster is currently building the site up as we speak, and he usually updates the live copy once or more a week. Eventually, we'll have an online edition of our paper. Hope this helps, and talk to you later! Imageboy1 06:57, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Joodse maanden
Vriendelijke groeten, gidonb 02:06, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Zweeds legerfiets
[edit]Regarding the article on the Swedish army bicycle, the interwiki links you provided point to articles concerning the civilian bicycle inspired by the m/42. In addition, the article on the Dutch wikipedia appears to say that the Kronan company existed in 1940. That is not true. Kronan, the bicycle company, has only existed since 1997. I can only read Dutch, not write it, so could you correct that for me? --Adamrush 23:52, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
Done! And thanks for the explanation - Erik1980 14:10, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

my ban
[edit]You know, I support admins on commons, who also hold the view that the version with the cut off edge of the weeds are better.
And do not be surprised that the curse, when the Dutch Wikipedia is so zabedněnců who ten reverting my edit, it will stop any man komunikce fun.
You do not tighten so much that after a while you will be there no change.
A change to refer to the page, just because you do not like to edit a comment?
Indeed, dig your own grave, and just because it is not it forward.
Then do not be surprised that Wikipedia has a considerable outflow of the authors and the site are poor level.
Moreover, as some may have as much attitude oven, pětkárt revertovat my editing just because he wanted? How can I work when I will still likely be editingwar ban? How do I enforce its version of the article, when one oven to keep reverting and the other without jakoliv thought, give me a ban?

- Thank you voor your bericht. Unfortunately I have geen enkele clue what you are talking about, omdat je een automated translation gebruikt.
- Whatever you are trying to say, please ask or say it in English, German (Deutsch), French (Francais) or Dutch (Nederlands), but not in some strange combination of several languages. My Dutch talk page would be a better place to talk to me as I hardly ever check this English talk page (only when I happen t have to make an edit on this version of Wikipedia). Thanks!

NEC
—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.132.236.31 (talk) 11:11, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
Vriendelijke groeten, Erik1980 (talk) 17:37, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
Saint Paraskevi
[edit]Thank you very much for the picture. This article really needed it. If you have time, check also Vikos-Aoos National Park. There is also an ongoing nomination to be promoted to a-class on the talkpage.Alexikoua (talk) 20:49, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! Do check out the Category:Monastery of Saint Paraskevi on Commons with more pictures of the monastery. I'm not an expert at all, just a coincidental passer-by who loved the place... So if you find a more appropriate picture, just do whatever you like with it! Best, Erik1980 (talk) 20:54, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Deleted Page
[edit]Why did you delete my whole page? Yes, it was translated with a translator, but I understand Dutch grammar and sentence structure, and I was working on fixing it only to click submit to be told that the page had been deleted. Maybe wait at least two minutes before you delete a page that someone's working on? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wesrater (talk • contribs) 13:08, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
- The second reason for deletion was the fact that the article's topic does not meet the notability guidelines, neither on Dutch Wikipedia nor on English Wikipedia. I have therefore proposed deletion on this Wikipedia as well.
- Please use "~~~~" (without the brackets) to sign your remarks on any talk page. Kind regards, Erik1980 (talk) 16:14, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
The article Mojo Barrier has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not a notable product/company.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SummerPhD (talk) 15:57, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
