Kai Tak Airport

Question: @Ymblanter: I was about to protect this for a few days (possibly a week), but you got to it first. Just curious: why did you go with indefinite protection? @Daniel Quinlan: I was indeed in doubt, since the article was protected for a month and then for a year between 2021 and 2022, so that the indefinite protection was in order in 2024. On the other hand, if I were a protecting administrator back in 2021, I would likely not escalate the second ever protection to a year. I have now lowered the protection to 10 days, let us see whether it would be enough, and if not, a long-term protection will be in order. Ymblanter (talk) 21:32, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
