Tuarangisaurus (meaning in Maori tuarangi "ancient" + Gr. sauros "lizard") is a genus of extinct elasmosaur discovered in New Zealand and described by Wiffen & Moisley in 1986, known from a skull and some vertebrae, and some attributed postcranial remains of juveniles. T. keyesi is the only species known. The estimated length is about 8 meters.
