Forecast Sales

You removed forecast sales from ipod page. for 2006 Q4. Do you know that Apples Fiscal Quarter ends in September, and not december. There is literally no company whose Fiscal year ends in december. This isn't forecast sales figure. I have even linked to Apples 2006 Q4 report so you can verify it for yourself. MySchizoBuddy 11:25, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

iPod Nano

q: would you mind me use the mod. version? a: not at all, thanks for the retouch. I like it! good work! -- Boereck 13:50, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PS: I just saw the pic is very small. would you like me to email you the image in full size? I wanted to reload the image to commons but now I feel it is too small. let's work something out. -- Boereck 13:53, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:IPod Models Timeline.svg

Ok then, the lines below I thought were part of the timeline, which I found to be missing when I took it out. I don't really like the current table, especially when the facts are not centered, if only that could stay and leave out the grids, and color distictions.--Toosmart215 01:05, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Image:IPod Models Timeline.svg: Maybe the 4GB iPod mini 1G could connect to the 6GB iPod mini 2G since they were both sold at the same price.—Tokek 15:06, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You said that no other bars connect this way -- however, the iPod mini 2G, iPod nano 1G, iPod nano 2G all connect this way in the graph (the bars meet by same price rather than same storage capacity) and the only portion that is inconsistent is the bar that's connected by same capacity rather than price: the iPod mini 1G. In the mini/nano section, I'm somewhat certain that the first row is 6-4-8 GBs at 250 USD, the 2nd row is 4 GB @ 250 USD + 4-2-4 GBs @ 200 USD, the last row being 1 GB and 2 GB models at 150 USD. But truthfully, I don't think this is terribly important, though. I can see how the second generation 4GB mini can be seen as a continuation because of same storage capacity. —Tokek 13:25, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re-colour

Hi, thanks for the great image! Though, I'm not sure about the chosen colours... Is there anyway you could re-upload it, with a more flattering colour scheme? Like primary colours, green blue and red? You could use the web colors article for ideas. I think this would make the iPod article look much better :) Jack · talk · 05:51, Sunday, 18 February 2007

I'll see what I can do. Do you want the colours paler or brighter? Any suggestions? --IE 12:02, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What I was thinking was start off (or finish with) with a dark primary colour and use increasingly lighter shades into the rest.

Not for the first time, I just noticed that TextPad has acquired a "Yes" under "Window splitting" under "Multiple document interface".

I use TextPad 4.7.3, which is the most recent version, and it quite clearly doesn't allow you to use window splitting to view multiple documents. If I'm wrong and you've found a way to do it, please share your steps with the rest of us. -- Smjg 00:24, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

iPod article for version 0.5

Thanks for the heads up on the iPod article. We plan to compare two versions, the version we tagged and the most recent version when we "go to press". If the latter looks reasonable, we'd tend to prefer going with that. Our timetable drifted a bit in recent weeks, but things are picking up and we're getting close to finishing now, so I expect "going to press" would probably be in early to mid November. If you think a particular version is the best choice for us to use, please let me know and I'll tag that version for inclusion. Thanks! Walkerma 18:28, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot! Walkerma 21:18, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again- glad to see it getting better. Duly noted! Walkerma 22:21, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

iPod article for Version 0.5

Hi, you contacted me about 6 weeks ago to recommend this version of the iPod article to include on the Wikipedia:Version 0.5 CD. We have done a final dump and we are running cleanup scripts right now on articles, ahead of producing the CD in a week or two. Can you tell me if there is a more recent version you think is better, or should we go with that older version? I'm not sure if the recent announcements on the iPhone have affected the article much. Let me know soon, so I can use the version you recommend. Thanks, Walkerma 06:25, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback. I will use ID=97402239, from 30 December 2006 for the time being, but with the broken image link fixed. We can do simple cleanups like this on articles offline (as long as it's only a handful of articles), because we have to do this on articles that have petty vandalism. I think the articles will probably be downloaded in the next day or two; if there is a much better new version than the one you mention, let me know and if there's time to slip it in during cleanups I will do so. Thanks - with most articles it's less important, but with a newish tech article like this, having an up-to-date version is helpful. Thanks, Walkerma 09:38, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

...has been promoted to featured sound status. Congratulations! MER-C 10:21, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Woo hoo! --IE 18:07, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you have participated in Wikipedia:Featured sound candidates in the past. There are now two candidates and the project appears to be abandoned. If you could look at the candidates and vote it would be appreciated. Zginder (talk) (Contrib) 00:48, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

UK fuel economy

I notice that you added the Smart Roadster in the "highest fuel economy" section, but to make that list cars need to have a combined mileage of at least 4.5 L/100km combined mileage, and the Smart is only 5.1. The list can be sorted by any column, but is pre-sorted by combined mileage. You can, however, add it to the alphabetized list along with all the other Smart models, as I see that that particular model is not currently included. 199.125.109.105 (talk) 19:28, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
