Deletion of EFC Africa 5

I wanted to make my case for not deleting EFC Africa 5. Though the event does not have any major noteworthy fighters, it is part of the largest organization in all of Africa. So I feel it is a subject of interest both for South Africa MMA fans and international fans to understand how the sport is look in South Africa. Ghost563 (talk), 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Peter Opsvic - and how to correct the spelling of his name

Hey, Eekster, thanks for checking in to my page about the great designer Peter Opsvik.

This is the link... you will notice that I spelled his last name wrong due to a typo.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Opsvic

I have already notified him that I started a page about him. And I definitely intend to add more content and sources / citations.

My question to you is - can you please tell me how I can correct the spelling error so I can change his name from Opsvic to Opsvik?

Thanks, Rani Lueder

Article Robert Tickell Deleted

Eeekster, Robert Tickell is very notable, and is well-known throughout California. I was in the process of adding information to the article. I was going to add the hang-on tag, but didn't have the chance before the article was deleted. What can I do?

Hi Eekster. I removed your tagging of this article as I feel that receiving national recognition is enough to satisfy the A7 criteria as it implies significance or importance. Since the article is in a very weak state right now, I have placed a PROD tag on it instead.   ArcAngel   (talk) ) 23:14, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, but the statement does have to credible to make the article not meet A7. Without sources and with COI I'm not sure if I'd see it as such. Eeekster (talk) 23:20, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, my view is that statements such as received national recognition are credible enough to satisfy A7, whether or not it can be verified.   ArcAngel   (talk) ) 23:32, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Images

Hi, I have added some more details to the three images I recently uploaded. I hope this aids and resolves the issue? --TBM10 (talk) 23:26, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for being so helpful in your handling of this... not. --TBM10 (talk) 09:43, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion flag on Interfaith Families Project of Greater Washington, D.C.

At Interfaith Families Project of Greater Washington, D.C. in the last hour, I've revised and updated the text from the old page ("Interfaith family project" which I redirected here before I had made enough edits with this account to qualify to move the old page) and added a number of external links. I'd appreciate the removal of the speedy deletion flag when possible. I'll keep working on the page in the morning (EDT). Thanks. Ryansholin (talk) 02:10, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Icon Image of John Coltrane

Hi Eeekster, I am the copyright holder. I am the only author of the image and the original painting.

http://elvispelvis.com/jazzchurch.htm

I am a new editor and can use what ever help available in posting the image in the Sainthood

section of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_coltrane Deacondukes (talk) 03:36, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How do we know you are the owner of the copyright? Eeekster (talk) 03:49, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Eeekster, I'm not sure how to establish this copyright information on the image page, but I do know that I have permission. I paid for the source image and the author also gave me permission to use it.

Icon of John Coltrane

How can I establish my right to use the image that now I see has been deleted. http://blog.sfmoma.org/2010/01/interview-with-coltrane-icon-painter-mark-dukes-and-archbishop-franzo-king/ http://deacondukes.blogspot.com/ I have had the username of deacondukes for 3 years on wiki. Improving articles

So what should I do to make Paracombe Primary School more encyclopedia-worthy? (And for that matter, how would one upload images?) Stealthysis (talk) 22:21, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't notabable. I doubt you can do anything to change that. Eeekster (talk) 22:23, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
...I knew it. Anyway, you can speedy-delete it if you want~ How do you upload images? Stealthysis (talk) 05:18, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Refactored your AFD

Hi, just dropping by to give you a heads up that I refactored your AFD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/JohnnyBoyXo which was an old AFD, I moved your nomination to a 2nd nomination at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/JohnnyBoyXo (2nd nomination). I know messing with other people's signed things on pages is generally frowned on, but I felt it was what you intended to do. I didn't mess with your reasoning, just moved it into a separate nomination from the archived on. Hope you don't mind. Monty845 06:19, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the original AFD was closed with a delete result. Wish I had noticed that. Eeekster (talk) 18:20, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please advise.

Ranjani Krishnakumar (talk) 05:43, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You put a copyright tag on but the source does not confirm that tag. Eeekster (talk) 06:55, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
