The school building

Serampore Union Institution is a Website:www.sui.co.in Bengali medium boys' school in India.The school was inaugurated by Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar. The school is affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. It was established in 1884. In 2009, school stand on 125 years.[1]

Location

The school is a Bengali medium school (boys) situated in 7 km. Bhattacharya St. Serampore, Hooghly, West Bengal,Pincode:712 201, India. It is situated at almost 1.5 km towards East from Serampore Railway Station which falls on the Howrah - Bandel (main line) section, 20 km (north) from Howrah Junction. The western bank of the river Hooghly (Ganges) is just 500 metres away from the school.

Curriculum

The school offers classes from grade 5 to grade 12.

Infrastructure

The school comprises three adjoined buildings and one football ground.The school has a library, Science Lab and a Computer Lab.
