The Friday Times is Pakistan's first English-language independent newsweekly publication based in Lahore, Pakistan.

TFT’s editorial policy is fiercely independent as demonstrated by the national and international standing of the newspaper. TFT’s founder-editor, Najam Sethi, and publisher Jugnu Mohsin, are recipients of prestigious international awards conferred by Amnesty International and the Committee to Protect Journalists. TFT is the most highly quoted paper from Pakistan in the international press.

Editorially, TFT holds the view that Pakistan was conceived by the Founding Fathers to be a liberal, modern Muslim state where free thought and free enterprise go hand in hand. TFT opposes obscurantism and dogmatic thinking and stands for the democratic rights of all citizens, regardless of creed or gender.
