The emergency department is an ACS verified Level I Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.[2] Hurley also has region’s only Children's Hospital, Burn Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatric Emergency Department.
History
Mathew monk, a welsh national, remembering his early days of poverty and his wife's struggles through a serious illness, donated $55,000 and land to city of Flint in 1905 to fund a hospital dedicated to serving the poor.
