Civic Area (Italian: Area Civica, AC) is a progressive political party in Italy.

Its leader is Giulio Santagata, former foreign minister in Mario Monti's government.

AC is composed of former Olivists (a faction of the Democratic Party, whose members were close to Prodi) and former members of the Progressive Camp (a short-lived party founded and led by Giuliano Pisapia).[1]

In December 2017 AC formed, along with the Italian Socialist Party and the Federation of the Greens, the Together electoral list, within the centre-left coalition, for the upcoming 2018 general election.[2][3][4]
