- I'd have to second this - your editing on this article is not productive, and is in many cases doesn't make a lot of sense. So it doesn't sound like I'm just nattering away here, I'll explain what I mean. Okay, we have removed the comment that "While popular among the anime fanbase, the sales of these products were poor", replacing it with "While popular among the anime fanbase, the sales of these products were not enough to withhold mainstream standards". Now, I can appreciate your belief that the term "poor" may be not follow WP:NPOV, but in this case it makes sense. In a business context - such as this - when someone states that "sales were poor", it means that they have underperformed against expectations. A minor release, say of a reissued recording, can have sales of only a few thousand, yet not be considered poor. Likewise, a blockbuster film can sell millions of tickets, yet still be a poor release. It all depends on context. Here, the use of the word "poor" makes sense - it does not bias the article, since the term is understood to be in a business context.
- It's clear that you feel strongly about this topic, and I understand that - and am sensitive to it. However, what you have replaced it with does not make sense - it is unclear what is meant by "withhold mainstream standards", and is confusing. If you can think of a better way to re-word this section, go ahead and do it. But bear in mind the context, and that you have to write for an audience. I considered many of the issues you presumably feel here are at stake in my recent re-write, and I opted to keep the term "poor" for the reasons outlined above. If you disagree, please enter a more public dialog on the talk page, or on my user page. Thanks for you effort, and passion, though! --Haemo 05:37, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
