Malokarpatan is a black metal and heavy metal band from Bratislava, Slovakia, formed in 2014.[1][2] They have released three full-length albums.[3]

Style and themes

The band has been described as "epic black metal" with an "occult atmosphere" and a "diabolically old-school side"[4]

Malokarpatan founder and main songwriter, As, has referred as his greatest influences "the classic 80s metal songwriting and catchiness, the black metal madness and mystery, and the folk psychedelia coming from our local culture"[5]
