Comments
[edit]Infobox
[edit]- The image rationale is fine.
- Great! --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 22:59, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
- The executive producers are not cited, or mentioned elsewhere later in the article. Do they need a citation? Same thing with the production company.
- I guess the citations can be the end credits of the respective episodes; Millionaire has a few refs like that. Should I do something similar here? --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 22:59, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
- Sounds good. I was looking at the Millionaire article for comparison when I made the comment. — Bilorv (talk)(contribs) 23:12, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
- Add a
|genre = Game show
parameter.
Format
[edit]However, they elect to play the game ...
— should this be "However, if they elect ..."?
- Fixed --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 22:59, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
- Are the three lives for each challenge, or for the entire game?
- Game, Done --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 22:59, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
- Fouls? Like what?
- Illegal moves, etc. Done
- I was really surprised at the complete omission of any examples (or even a full list) of challenges. Other than the mention of "common household items" in the lead, there is nothing said about the actual tasks themselves.
- See this. If there is anything else I should do to tweak, let me know. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 22:59, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
- I understand not every task should be described in detail but couldn't an example, or perhaps a recurring theme in challenges (e.g. balancing objects?) be included? Is there a notable review of the show which comments on the challenges? Other than it being vaguely similar to The Cube, with a time restriction and something about household objects, I have absolutely no idea how the challenges work. — Bilorv (talk)(contribs) 23:12, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
... other various special editions ...
— the word "various" is clunky and redundant; remove it.
- The bracketed
(milestone)
doesn't seem to make much sense to me — can it either be integrated into the sentence, or removed?
- I can't seem to find this in the article. I'm probably just overlooking it, but could you tell me exactly where it is? --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 22:59, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
- Under Special editions:
... the first team to four points wins $50,000 (milestone) ...
- Under Special editions:
- Is Supercoin the name of one of the challenges?
- Removed --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 22:59, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
- The heading "Payout Structure" should be changed to"Payout structure".
- For clarity, can the word "milestone" (used earlier on) be used in the "Payout structure" section?
- Did any celebrities worthy of mentioning in the article appear on the show? Did any reviews of the show mention them?
- No celebrity really did anything spectacular enough (such as winning $1,000,000) to merit any major recognition. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 22:59, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
Production
[edit]- How many episodes were in each season?
- Done with the episode guide as a source. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 23:11, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
Merchandise
[edit]- The challenges (e.g.
"Bucket Head"
) have quotation marks, whileSupercoin
(which I assumed is a game name) mentioned earlier on is in italics. Change all to one format for consistency.
- Removed, let me know if you would prefer it differently. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 23:11, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
See also
[edit]- The Cube has a description following that doesn't seem necessary (and Beat the Clock, which seems like it would suit an identical description, is listed without an explanation). Just the link suffices.
Lead
[edit]The program features contestants take part in a series of 60-second challenges that use objects that are commonly available around the house.
is a complete redundancy — the only piece of information not mentioned earlier in the paragraph is "60-second", which can be inferred from the title of the show.
- Removed --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 23:11, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
... airing the first two episodes back-to-back
— this isn't mentioned later on in the article. Either repeat the information under the Production section or remove it from the lead.

- Okay, I think everything is Done. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 23:48, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
- Yep. Pass for GA. — Bilorv (talk)(contribs) 09:55, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
