abstract |
Procedure for the separation by distillation of ammonia from solutions containing a lactam and ammonia, where the separation is carried out at an absolute pressure of less than 10 bar in an ad hoc distillation apparatus. A vapor-shaped stream consisting substantially of ammonia is removed from the head and in said head of the distillation device used there is a condenser for the ammonia separation of the solution, in which the components are partially or completely condensed with a point boiling higher than that of ammonia obtaining a condensate. Said condensate can be recycled from the condenser to the separation device. Preferably in the procedure described as lactam, caprolactam is used. |
