The base includes a bait receptacle dissected by a dividing wall so that different baits can be offered to insects. The cover has a roof that is spaced over and encompasses the bait receptacle so that insects can crawl through entries formed in the cover to access the bait in the bait receptacle. A support rib is arranged down from the ceiling to fit with the bait receptacle and the partition wall to not only provide crush resistance and ceiling support but also to provide a bait retention feature. The support rib may also be configured to serve as a reservoir for water or other insect attractants. |
