abstract This disclosure relates to compounds having nematicidal activity against parasitic nematodes, processes for producing such compounds and intermediates used in such processes, compositions containing such compounds, and processes for using such compounds/compositions against such parasitic nematodes. Compounds having formula (1) are provided. Claim 1: A compound having a structure of the formula (1) wherein: (A) each of R¹ and R² is independently selected from the group consisting of (F), H, C₁₋₈ alkyl, C₁₋₈ haloalkyl, C₂₋₈ alkenyl and C₂₋₈ alkynyl, each unsubstituted or substituted with at least one R¹⁰; (B) L is C or Si; (C) R³, R⁴, and R⁵ are each independently selected from the group consisting of (F), H, OH, halogen, cyano, C₁₋₆ alkyl, C₁₋₆ haloalkyl, C₃₋₆ cycloalkyl, C₂₋₆ alkenyl , C₂₋₆ alkynyl, C₁₋₆ alkoxy, C₁₋₆ haloalkoxy, C₁₋₃ alkylthio, C₁₋₃ alkylsulfinyl, and C₁₋₃ alkylsulfonyl, each unsubstituted or substituted with at least one R⁶; (D) each of R⁶, R⁷, R⁸, and R⁹ is independently selected from the group consisting of H, OH, cyano, halogen, C₁₋₆ alkyl, C₁₋₆ alkoxy, C₁₋₆ haloalkyl, C₁₋₆ haloalkoxy, C₂₋₆ alkenyl, C₂₋₆ alkynyl, (C₂₋₆ alkyl)carbonyl, and C₁₋₆ alkylsulfonyl, each unsubstituted or substituted with at least one R¹¹; (E) Q is O or S; (F) optionally any two of R¹, R², R³, R⁴ and R⁵ may be linked to a hydrocarbyl linker A, to form a 3 to 7 membered cyclic structure, where the hydrocarbyl linker A may be a saturated or unsaturated linkage of 1 a 5-membered substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from C₁₋₆ alkyl, C₁₋₆ alkoxy, C₁₋₆ haloalkyl or C₁₋₆ haloalkoxy; (G) each R¹⁰ is independently halogen, cyano, C₁₋₃ alkoxy, C₁₋₃ alkylthio, C₁₋₃ alkylsulfinyl, C₁₋₃ alkylsulfonyl, or SiRᵃRᵇRᶜ; each Rᵃ, Rᵇ and Rᶜ is independently C₁₋₆ alkyl, C₁₋₆ alkoxy, C₁₋₆ haloalkyl or C₁₋₆ haloalkoxy; (H) each R¹¹ is independently halogen, cyano, C₁₋₃ alkoxy, C₁₋₃ alkylthio, C₁₋₃ alkylsulfinyl, or C₁₋₃ alkylsulfonyl; and agriculturally acceptable acid addition salts, salt derivatives, solvates, ester derivatives, crystalline polymorphs, isotopes, resolved stereoisomers and tautomers, of the compound of formula (1).
