titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR DISTILLING SOLVENTS |
abstract | At present, perchloroethylene-containing cleaning fluids are freed of the impurities by means of a classical distillation. Here, the contaminated perchloroethylene is heated to boiling in a distillation apparatus, the still pot. Large amounts of drinking water are used for cooling in this method. The method of the invention solves the problems by using the contact water which is present in any case instead of treated mains water for steam generation. As a result, both the treatment of the mains water for vaporization and also the problem with the contact water are avoided since the amount of water present in the circuit is constant. |
