abstract |
The present invention relates to the use of a belite-calcium aluminate which can be obtained in a method involving the steps of: (a) producing a starting material, which has a molar Ca/(Si+AI+Fe) ratio of 1.0 to 3.5 and a molar Al/Si ratio of 100 to 0.1; (b) mixing the raw materials; (c) hydrothermally treating the starting material mixture produced in step (b) in the autoclave at a temperature of 100 to 300 °C and at a residence time of 0.1 to 24 hrs, wherein the water/solid ratio is 0.1 to 100; moderating the temperature of the intermediate product obtained in step (c) at 350 to 600 °C, wherein the heating rate is 10-6000 °C/min and the residence time is 0.01-600 minutes as accelerators for Portland cement. The present invention further relates to a method for accelerating the stiffening/solidification and/or the hardening of binding agents containing Portland cement by adding the belite-calcium aluminate, binding agents containing Portland cement and to the accelerator. |
