Photostable cosmetic composition for protection against UV rays of wavelengths between 280 and 400 nm, containing an effective amount of an ethylrutin derivative chosen from tetrahydroxyethylrutin and morpholinoethylrutin, in a cosmetically acceptable aqueous or hydroalcoholic medium. The ethylrutin derivative is advantageously combined with a known UV-B or UV-A filter. Application as an antisun composition for the skin, a hair protective composition or a light-stabilized cosmetic composition. |
