The invention relates to the field of polyol components suitable for forming a polyurethane foam, in particular a two-component polyurethane foam, the resulting foams and the methods for their production. The inventors found that gas-forming hydrohalolefin-containing polyol components have better shelf life properties, in particular polyol components comprising a gas-forming hydrohalolefin blowing agent, a nitrogen catalyst and a tin catalyst, wherein the tin catalyst comprises a sulfur atom. The inventors also found that the shelf life is further improved if the nitrogen catalyst is at least partially protonated by reaction with an acid, such as an organic acid. |
