METHOD FOR DEHYDRATION OF SECONDARY CYCLIC ALCOHOLS |
abstract |
The method is carried out at elevated temperature in the gas phase. The dehydrogenation of the secondary cyclic alcohols is carried out in the presence of hydrogen and a catalyst, the active component of which includes in weight%: from 30 to 60 zinc oxide and from 40 to 70 calcium carbonate in calcite modification. The invention also relates to a dehydrogenation catalyst, to a process for its preparation and to its use. |
