abstract | The method is used to produce a polymer by polymerizing a monomer containing an ethylene double bond in a reaction vessel having a film protecting against the polymer coating on the surface of the inner walls. The method shortens the formation time of the coating film, improves the productivity and the effect of preventing the adhesive from sticking to the polymer. In addition, the mixed colored particles in the polymer products, the fisheye and the initial discoloration of the formed products are reduced. As a result, the quality of the polymer products and their molded or cast products is improved. By the method, the coating film is formed by applying a first coating fluid comprising a compound selected from the group consisting of a compound of 5 or more conjugated Pi bonds and a heterocyclic compound with 5 or more conjugated Pi bonds. A second coating fluid is then applied to the first layer. The first and second coating liquids are applied by steam as a carrier. The second coating liquid has a surface with a wetting angle of less than 600, after its surface has been brought into contact with a solution of a mixture of water and vinyl chloride monomer, in a weight ratio of 1: 1, at 500C for 1 h. |
