titleOfInvention Set of shower screen mechanisms
abstract "SET OF SHOWER SCREEN MECHANISMS". The sets of shower screen mechanisms provide different combinations and variations of continuous spray patterns, pulsating deflectors and aeration spray patterns including those that are adjustable that allow wide variations in the degree of aeration of the water that passes through the shower screen, allowing for wide variation in the characteristics of water spray patterns. spray patterns include a non-deflected, non-pulsating spray pattern; a non-pulsating deflected spray pattern; a pulsed, non-deflected spray pattern and a pulsed, deflected spray pattern, while allowing the mechanism assembly to be self-cleaning. For pulsating spray modes, the set of shower screen mechanisms includes five plastic parts and an O-ring seal, the parts being a stator, a rotor, a coupling device, a pressure plate and a flat plate , with openings arranged in the pressure plate and in the flat plate to allow fluid flow from them. Deflecting surfaces on the flat plate allow for a variety of different flow patterns. Rotor rotation starts or stops, depending on the position of the rotor in relation to the stator, since the stator includes a pair of stop flanges that engage and disengage the rotor. When the rotor is disengaged and free to rotate, the flow of water through the passages in the rotor causes the rotor to rotate, creating a vertex and pulsating spray patterns. The series of shower screen mechanism sets includes component parts that are interchangeable, with a minimum number of component parts, the ability to interchange reducing the number of spare parts needed to repair the series of shower screen mechanism sets.
