Process and installation of air separation by cryogenic distillation |
abstract |
"PROCESS AND INSTALLATION OF AIR SEPARATION BY CRYOGENIC DISTILLATION". An air separation installation that produces gaseous oxygen under pressure comprises at least one column (17) with a bowl distiller (19) and fed by an air flow. The vat distiller is heated by a nitrogen-enriched gas (25) compressed in a cold compressor (21) and pumped liquid oxygen (33) is drawn into the column vat, pumped and vaporized. The refrigerators for the process are produced by air expansion in a turbine (15). |
