This invention relates to a process for producing lipids (oil) from microalgae, comprising cultivating microalgae by sequential photoautotrophic-heterotrophic growth, wherein in the heterotrophic stage the microalgae are fed through the administration of a sugar feed resulting from sugar production residues, eg molasses or bagasse or also from the fruit confectionery waste, eg confit water, which has a sugar content of between 20 and 60%. The invention also relates to a microalgae lipid (oil) production facility for carrying out the process of the invention. |
