LUBRICANT COMPOSITION FOR COLD WORK AND COLD WORKING METHOD USING THE SAME. A cold working lubricant composition having good lubricating and anti-seizing properties and being less flammable without the addition of a chlorine compound and a cold working method employing the same are provided. The cold working lubricant composition comprises at least one carbonate selected from alkali metal carbonates and alkaline earth metal carbonates and at least one hydroxide selected from alkali metal hydroxides and alkaline earth metal hydroxides in a lubricating base oil and which is free of chlorine compounds, where the carbonate content of the composition is at least 10% by weight and less than 100% by weight and the hydroxide content is greater than 0 parts by weight and at most 5 parts by weight. mass per 100 parts mass of carbonate. |
