abstract ANTI-CORROSION AGENT FOR HOT WORK. The present invention relates to an anti-corrosion agent for hot working steel comprising: an inorganic component as the first component; sodium hydroxide as a second component; water soluble resins and / or water soluble surfactants as a third component; and water, where, for the sum of the mass of the first component, the second component and the third component as 100% by mass, the anti-corrosion agent contains: 96,5% by weight or more and 99,98% by weight or less first component; 0.01 mass% or more and 2.0 mass% or less of the second component; and 0.01 mass% or more and 1.5 mass% or less of the third component, and the inorganic component is one or more selected from the group consisting of Al ~ 2 ~ O ~ 3 ~, SiO ~ 2 ~, CaO , B ~ 2 ~ O ~ 3 ~, K ~ 2 ~ 0 and Na ~ 2 ~ O. This anti-corrosion agent for hot steel working has excellent wetting ability and firm adhesion to the steel surface; furthermore, the coating layer formed after application adheres solidly to the steel and does not loosen as much in the cold working environment as in the hot working environment.
